I start my third -Technically- Semester on Monday. Nervous as hell, scared I'll screw it all up, but so glad I forced myself, and pushed myself to get this far. I've made nothing but A's in all the classes I've taken so far. -glee- Lets keep this 4.0 average going!

I think one of my cats is pretending the floor is lava. To get from one end of the house to another, she'll go all the way around the edge of the rooms, jumping along the table, desk, couches, chairs, and whatever else she can use, instead of walking in a straight line across the floor.
This isn't exactly a rave, but there's no "OOC Memorable quotes (which aren't actually quotes because the real world isn't all text)" thread.
I will touch the multitude of things that pass through my station. I will caress them, and wonder who they're going to. I'll question each piece as it passes by, "Where are you going, little piece? Small box, what do you hide from my curious eyes?" I'll let my fingers brush softly across the cardboard, savoring the feeling as the pads of them make that soft, sweet tapping sound when I reach the corners. Once I feel comfortable, I will slowly insert each and every item into that nice, tight brown box, padding them with the proper wrap, and then sealing them away for the next person to touch their beauty.
*in a soft voice* I will touch your things.
... that's... really bizarre, because I've got a cat that's suddenly doing the very same thing - avoiding touching the floor however he can.

For the past 4 months or so I've been looking for a painting for my bedroom. I looked all over and couldn't find anything. Then I got talking to @Rip who as fate would have it, is a very talented artist. I was able to describe what I was looking for and he took the idea and ran with it. He also did one of his awesome videos for it:

My day has been made. I stopped by the Circle K that I used to work at today to get a drink. Was talking to one of my former co-workers and she mentioned the other assistant manager was gone, so I of course asked what happened. She was busted trying to cover up 1200 dollars that she had stolen, in the paperwork. They linked all the money that we had popping up short over the last 6 months to her. Fuck yes!
Just finished watching The Fisher King.
Now I'm all weepy.

For context... I'm broke as can be, literally in debt trying to just get basic food stuffs.
My neighbor is a sweet, sweet old man. Went out and bought my mother and I mac n cheese, some ground beef, and tons of canned food. Someone remind me to pay him back or pay it forward sometime.

My dad's old clothes may fit me, which is amazing because I've needed new clothes for a couple years now. Here's hoping.
