    The new Zelda game (A Link Between Worlds) is absolutely amazing. It has the same look, feel and gameplay of Link to the Past, but added many things perfectly into the game that makes it so much fun. If you have a Nintendo 3DS I would definitely recommend it.

    After months of arguing with my internet company about how my internet dropped from being 2 megs per second average download speed to 150k per second, and how that it MUST be a line fault, they finally got the main phone company to check the line.

    I bought the 3DS XL specifically to play this game. Honestly, it was worth the $250.

    One of the things I'm sad about is how when a game is AMAZINGLY popular (re: Link to the Past, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 3, many more) they make a new game...and change EVERYTHING about it so it's not even similar. This one did not do that. It's a continuation of the game with a few updates and things added in, in the same world, with a progressive story.

    I just. I just wish they would make sequels to all of my favorite games ever like this.

    had a discussion with my politicology professor about alternative forms of government, suggested a government of technocrats that are constantly checked by the high court, are unable to change the education system without a massive referendum majority, and basically have to have a referendum majority anyway for the vast majority of the decisions they make! (this is vastly summarised)
    He liked my idea, saying that in theory it would be an utopic form of government, but in reality it'd be a bureaucratic nightmare.
    Nevertheless, he's going to add my idea to the curriculum, and give me a honorable mention 
    :D

    That only happened once. We were playing punch fight and I said "Hey, I'm done" but he didn't hear me. Beautiful black eye. Strangers really don't believe you when you say "Seriously, it was just an accident".

    Spurred by all these pre-Black Friday deals around the corner, decided to go searching for watches for early Christmas gift shopping, spotted a caravelle by bulova watch on a lightning deal (on Amazon) which just -fits- my mum and I knew I just had to get it.

    10 minutes later, paid all of 50 local SGD bucks for shipping and gift-wrapped watch. ^_^
