I live in the tropics and I don't think most people wear proper clothes here. It's hot, the kitchen is hot, bikini tops are awesome when you live with no a/c and I don't own an apron because I never saw the point in wearing them.
Unless they are short with frills and not meant to be worn in the kitchen.

Well, nominally the point is to keep spatters and such off your clothes. I just know they offer the same hot oil protection as pants without the hassle.
yes, but when I turn around to do some prep work on the other counter, how the hell is an apron going to cover my back? I multitask in the kitchen. Pants are a must. So are shoes.
@melodie and @oceana - the bathroom is all fishies! does that count? I even have fishy sticky thingies in the bottom of the tub (Sheldon can keep his whimsical ducks).
Hee @Anaidiana, my bathroom is fishies too, and shells, and has a plush seahorse and a clownfish.
I gave my last presentation for my Developmental Behavioral Genetics course today! I still have a few small papers and a final exam, but I don't have to talk to a well-educated audience about things they understand better than I do anymore!
eta: after being forced to use a mobile wifi hotspot (3G) to play Achaea with an average ping of more than a full second, the game is almost too fast for me now.
I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.
Happiness is having gone to the bookstore, having bought two books instead of one, and coming home to an apartment sans sister, nephew, and/or dog. They're here a lot. I love them - but I like my space!

Edit: My cat likes having his territory to himself, as opposed to having a large dog wandering about.
Raving: Labs went okay (not jinxing it), got to spar with a cute guy at Karate, no less than five bacon sandwiches and a bowl of slowly-defrosting peas. Pretty sure I don't have any assignments due until a week tomorrow, too. Standing NaNoWriMo rave (see signature).
Having a second job at Library. Playing Achaea when boss looks over my shoulder and says "Oh it's like an interactive book! How wonderful." Walks away without scolding me for gaming on the job.
I had my hair done yesterday and my nails done the day before that. It's almost the weekend and I am feeling so good. Texting with acrylics is so much fun. It's like dyslexia on crack.

Omg. Guns of Icarus is so freaking fun. Airships! SOMEONE COME PLAY WITH ME
I had a 4 man team for that game we would play with ventrilo and wreck face. It was too easy with a premade group. Then if I try to play solo I get wrecked by the premade group!

It's a great game, I played with a group back when it was in beta!
The sweltering heat of the forge spills out across the land as the rumbling voice of Phaestus booms, "I want you to know, the Garden reaction to that one is: What?" The voice of Melantha, Goddess of the Seasons, echoes amid the rustle of leaves, "That's the censored version."
