So I got one of those card sleeve things for the first time:
You tear open a decorated sleeve and delightedly pull a playing card featuring Lord Nicator, The Chosen One from within!
With a flash of light, a deck of mystical cards appears in your hands!
Think it's pretty cool to get a historical figure like that.
Though similar in size to the standard variety found in casinos and taverns, this card is evidently of no conventional origin. Its sides taper to a razor-thin edge, embossed with sparkling silver, while the front and back boast a glossy, nigh-imperceptible coating to ensure the perpetual survival of the legend emblazoned on its face: Lord Nicator, The Chosen One. Aimless wandering and the great dreams of a utopian land plagued the formative years of the boy named Nikolas. Practiced, parried, and honed at length with his childhood friend, Severian, unrivalled powers of oration were his to command, swaying countless crowds to his burgeoning flock. Granted an epiphany by Sarapis, the Logos, the name Nikolas was replaced by that of Nicator, and the boy from Thera was transformed into the founder and first ruler of the legendary Seleucarian Empire. Never before or after in all the history of Achaea has such a grand and robust civilisation existed, and the staff of his namesake lives on as an artefact of unimaginable power.
Lightning-quick, you jab a crazed kelpie with Thoth's fang. You have scored a CRITICAL hit! The light of insanity bleeds out of a crazed kelpie's eyes as his body slumps to the ground. You have slain a crazed kelpie, retrieving the corpse. Your soul cries out in ecstasy as it reaches new heights of power. You have advanced to level 109. You have reached the illustrious level of 3rd Stratum of Puissance. Numerous golden sovereigns spill from the corpse. You have found Red Dragon leather (level 1) talisman piece! You feel a surge of energy course through your body as a sycophantic shoulder cape feeds upon the lifeforce of your fallen foe.
Affects both you and the group, but not if your are alone. It did affect all when I used it, and I bashed prin > bugle nicator and prin > bugle no nicator with the same level following me and me being the same level.
I did this 5 times and got different xp from nicator and no nicator runs myself
