@Tynil says in a clear, quiet voice, "What do you tell a Jester to do in raid defense?"

    You exclaim, "Runaway!"

You attempt to stifle your amusement but cannot help laughing aloud.

Tynil thumps you on the forehead.

I thought it was funny :(

An incomprehensible litany of cacophonous sound erupts
into being and gives way to a sudden, piercing silence, as if a hundred
thousand voices all ceased screaming at exactly the same time.

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.

Turns out it was Babel again.

It may have been Babel, but it was still Alderaan. RIP.

    No context.

You call out "Fire!" and release the mechanism on an Arcanian arm thrower.
A rotating disc glides away from "The Rising Phoenix" at a mass of sargassum, wreaking havoc across its body.
A mass of sargassum is defeated and begins to sink to the depths.

As a mass of sargassum slowly sinks to the depths below, the crewmen swarm over the remnants,
retrieving 11 wardiscs, 5 darts and a tangle of sargassum fronds for safe keeping on the ship's deck.

(Party): @Iyani says, "BIG feesh is dead!"

(Party): You say, "We killed a feesh! Don't tell @Zbaco!"

[Khadafi unphases, attempts to kill me for bounty while I'm standing on guards]

Khadafi meets a bloody end, bludgeoned into an unrecognisable mess by a
    Brighthold watchman.

Narrowing your eyes, you squint off toward the west.
    Combat Scriptures. (indoors)
A runic totem is planted solidly in the ground. There are 4 Brighthold watchmen
here. Elode stands here with a soft smile on her face. An emerald mist drifts
underfoot, swirling with each passing eddy. A sigil in the shape of a small,
rectangular monolith is on the ground. Holding her lantern aloft, a Brighthold
watchman closely inspects the area for signs of turmoil. A light smudge of
green indicates a pinch of malachite dusts the ground here. The twisted remains
of Khadafi lie here. A fairly large group of goldenseal roots lies discarded
here. The soul of Khadafi roams the land, bodiless. You see a sign indicating
there are WARES for sale here.
    You can see no further.

Khadafi tells you, "Your such a coward..."

    [the post embracing-death sequel...]

Khadafi tells you, "Duel? Or would you like to just hide in your city like the
    coward everyone knows you are?"

You tell Khadafi, "I'll hide, thanks. Watching you weep is amusing."

Khadafi tells you, "I am weeping?"

You tell Khadafi, "Doing a damn good impression of it."

You tell Khadafi, "Some advice? Check for guards -before- you unphase."

Khadafi tells you, "I'm just pointing out the obvious of how much of a bitch
    you are."

You tell Khadafi, "Oh. I'm stricken right through the heart."

Khadafi tells you, "It's rather amusing to know you die a thousand deaths,
    coward."

You tell Khadafi, "Mm. Keep dying to guards and you'll equal that, no effort."

    You tell Khadafi, "Enjoy."

Khadafi tells you, "Keep hiding in your city, coward! Knowing your to scared to
    leave it is satisfaction enough."
    6858h, 4500m, 21900e, 20400w cexkdbtell khadafi good, because it's the only satisfaction you're getting
That person has chosen to ignore you.
Well uh. He sure showed me?

Regardless, why people get upset because of guards is beyond me, heh. I fall on guards due to my own antics, and I'm ok with that. If we get guarded, we guard bash. If you can't guard bash, then letting it go isn't that bad either :)

Except @Cyrene, don't guard me Zae. I mean it :D

I mean. Guards weren't even called on him. I was standing in Combat Scriptures, which is a guard stack.

I don't actually substantially change my normal routine when someone has a bounty on me, though if I'm jumped I'll retreat to my city for at least a short period of time afterwards. Mainly, once I hunted to Dragon the amount of time I spent out of city decreased a lot.

EDIT: I should also note that normally when people ask to duel for bounty, I make a point of politely declining and thanking them for the offer. I'm shit in one-on-one and don't feel an obligation to stand and die, but I also get why people find that disappointing and I want to encourage rather than discourage dueling.

Couching it in an insult is not going to go well, though. Though asking for a duel after trying 3 times to jump me is going to raise my eyebrows anyway.

Also, 'too' indicates 'also' or to indicate excessiveness (hint: this is what you meant to use). Two is a number. For most others, use 'to'

    You told Gilliam: What?
Gilliam told You: I just don't typically see you wandering around a city peacefully so I was confused.
You told Gilliam: Lol, I used to all the time in Hashan!
Gilliam told You: I at least expected you to kick over a trash can or something.
    You told Gilliam: rofl

XD @Shirszae would punt me if I started kicking stuff in her city.

I saw 'refrishingly' and couldn't figure out if you were talking shit to Astarod about the 'lol's or trolling or what..

Discovering you messed up the spelling on it made it so much funnier.  I hate when that happens, but I can't help but enjoy knowing I'm not alone in it.

In other news: I was trying to do the mentor-y thing yesterday and take a novice and new protege hunting.  Figured I would use fast travel, but didn't remember that I had the mammoth.  I ended up in the damn tundra and then COMPLETELY lost my bearings and ended up wandering around.  Decided to fast-travel to Meropis and back to save face...they didn't have a pebble.  Totally not used to people not having a pebble anymore (and might just say F it and buy every novice a damn pebble now).  All I could think to save my pride was "damnit, at least I can spell 'refreshingly' "  (just kidding). I was sitting there going 'I look like a moron.  I'm the High Warden, LOST IN THE WILDERNESS, and a House leader who just made a complete idiot out of myself in front of a new member because I couldn't get somewhere.  I didn't even NEED to use the mammoth.  I could have just used wings FFS.'  Total brainfart and facepalm moment with @Lev
