I did a ritual for a transformation of my SoA and as a turning point for Datrius in his life since his return to find not only had he been kicked from the SS for no reason but that the house was gone entirely. The ritual was entirely unplanned except for me writing it up right after I found out the customisation was approved. I have to give a huge rave to whichever of the admins or celani was watching and added the part at the end of the lava from the lake swallowing up the whip and dirk. That was absolutely epic and really made the moment for me.
As a side note, I don't think Datrius will ever return to Serpent now, because that whole thing really felt like a final farewell to a side of him that no longer has a place or reason to exist.
Rising above the Mhojave Desert, the mighty form of the green dragon Aeriel ascends heavenward. An aura of potent distortion escapes from the dragon's fearsome maw, breaking apart the very fabric of reality. In an instant the dragon vanishes through the rift.
Sophist @Aeriel, the Relentless (female Human). She is 20 years old, having been born on the 16th of Chronos , 678 years after the fall of the Seleucarian Empire.
I know Cathy did it at 21. I think somebody might have already done it at 20 (20 very close to 21), but I'm not sure.
- (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place." - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely." - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")." - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish." - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

Wow... just wow.
What's the record?
Hold that thought.
Aeriel has been ruthlessly cut down by the Avenging Arrow Champion.
The Mhaldorians did it to an Eleusian during his Dragon ceremony yesterday night. They really need to fix the dragon bow. It's shitty to kill someone during or right after their ceremony and cause them to lose Dragon.
I think receiving the Dragon Bow upon reaching dragon or the occasional random occurrence where someone who has recently died gets stuck with Lifegiver isn't fair at all. Have seen the latter happen to young people. Someone shouldn't just become open to PK like that without wanting to.
you get the dragon bow while in the pool where nobody should be able to travel to you. Granted, there should be a pop-up, but if someone warns you beforehand or you know that's where it appears, you can yield it before you get to Spire or anywhere else anyone can reach you.
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."

Plenty of people can do it, though, so if it's supposed to be impossible then something's gone wrong somewhere. I've done it with grove gates and as I recall a prism more than once.

Dragon Bow, most (but not all) people know about it by that point... yet getting randomly stuck with Lifegiver which takes two deaths to lose just sucks royally. You already died, why be forced to die some more? I think that one definitely needs some changing.

I had no idea about it, thankfully someone warned me. I failed Aeriel. I forgot about it
I was combat-deffed and already had basic Dragon fighting keys made when I finally did the ceremony, and no one came for me.
Getting the Dragonbow during the ceremony isn't the end of the world--easy to get rid of if you don't want it--but I can't really think of any reason for why you should get it at that moment. Most people getting dragon are there with friends and basking in the moment, and most people don't have any fighting capability in a class that they got literally seconds ago, so silently handing them a relic that makes them open PK does seem like a dick move by whatever Garden/Admin decided that would be funny.
And it's not even a good relic. If you're going to put new Dragons in a position to get ganked the moment they come out of the pool, at least make it worth their while. Give them the Golden Braid or something.
-- Grounded in but one perspective, what we perceive is an exaggeration of the truth.

yeah ultimately my issue is unless you're told you're gIven (unless I was oblivious) no indication that you got it.
Maybe just a "Hey! You got a relic! Did you know you're open PK now?"
I feel left out, I didn't get the bow when I got Dragon.
Also why is everyone so quick to jump on people, just because they killed a younger person once? Proficy wasn't even in the wrong for killing her... Losing Dragon isn't even a big deal these days, you can kill 10 mobs and get it back, without needing to do the ceremony again.

The whole point of working to dragon is well.... to get dragon. Maybe losing dragon wouldn't be a big deal like two or three weeks after the fact, but to get dragon and immediately lose it just because someone decided that they just had to PK you RIGHT NOW is shitty. It's like climbing a mountain and then someone just shoves you off as you crest the peak cause lulz.
Also attacking someone during their ceremony is Tacky McTackerson.

Whoever this was, that's awesome.
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
Deeznuts for Dawnlord.
Got 'em.

Sometimes things line up really well.

Classy, as always.
