The weird part is they even say that to women. Look I may be your captain guys, but I'm still female. Is it really THAT horrifying a thought?

You pet a dappled Dardanic filly ingratiatingly.
A dappled Dardanic filly nuzzles your hand.

You pet a Baarian tiger ingratiatingly.

You peer at a Baarian tiger unscrupulously.
A Baarian tiger looks up curiously.

You say to a Baarian tiger in a quiet voice, "Be friendly!"

You pet a Baarian tiger ingratiatingly.
    A Baarian tiger dances delightfully.

You look up into the air for divine inspiration.
    Ada giggles happily.

But what in the world does he do with 11 owls?!!

Edited: make that 12 owls, if I'm reading right. Secret owl army? My mind is blown right now.
  • If you have to lose, though, it's totally worth it as a way to go.

Didn't Matsuhama (or Aegis, perhaps, I forget) challenge all of Ashtan to a duel in the arena once, way back in the day?
    - (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place."
    - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely."
    - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")."
    - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish."
    - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

of course. And then proceeded to hangedman/rub 7 death tarot/fling death upon all of us, with the death going through after 4 seconds instead of 8. aaaa. I still have a log somewhere in my e-mail.

A combination of illusions done by Akamai and I to confuse Raem :innocent:

    Akamai pees himself.

Raem says in a lazy voice, "Ew."

Raem runs violently in circles before tripping and falling on his face.

Raem attempts to stifle his amusement but cannot help laughing aloud.

Proficy walks in from the west.

Raem greets Proficy with a sincere smile.

Proficy has been slain by the might of a serpent illusion.

    The soul of Proficy sighs.

The soul of Proficy says, "GOD DAMNIT NOT AGAIN!"

Raem says in a lazy voice, "Checkmate."

The soul of Proficy says, "Lol."

The soul of Proficy says, "I WILL KILL YOU ALL."

Akamai looks surprised and says in a high, singsong voice, "That rhymes."

Hmm you left out all the good parts of that interaction.
  • I got curious. Really no idea where else to stick this, but incase anyone else gets curious...

You lay the head of a clay figurine in a crucible and heat it to very high temperatures before drizzling a stream of acid on top. Hissing and spitting, the piece is slowly worn down by the heat and acid into a brown, viscous substance. A quick bath in highly oxidized water bleeds the impurities out, leaving you with 550 gold, which you retrieve as it cools.

@Kandra you could've just asked me D: You get roughly the same gold for any and all talisman pieces you put in that ability
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!"
Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh."
Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."

  • Nah @Tharvis, I got way less for azatlan pieces.

I want to say that when I tested it, higher level talisman pieces scaled a little bit better,  but don't quote me on that.  I was too poor for a lot of testing.

That's... Not what you're meant to do, Santar.

Juliet has cowardly declined the challenge of Santar to engage in mortal combat.

Personally that was my favourite use of that warhorn yet!

I cracked up. Makes me wonder if a Divine can be challenged... Should be tested on Tecton.
What doesn't kill you gives you exp.

  • Can Romeo and Juliet even be hurt or attacked? I seem to remember both of them having divine fire way back in the day, and they're listed as Immortals on Honours. What skills do they have?

  • They can drop the divine fire defense I think. And they probably have every skill.
