I love the witty banter from gods sometimes but it would have cheapened the moment here. Not only had the situation gone beyond words, but we did happen to be standing in her garden when Daeir basically told her where she could put her warning. Imo, the crystal corpse explode was a first rate response for an impatient goddess known for the austerity of her replies.
A frenzied cleric screams, "Like more than one halo!"
Nothing personal, but you were getting kills in city defense, attacking people that you are bound (by in-character duty) to be attacking anyways, and that were probably going to die without your sniping anyways. That is not what bounties are for.
Seriously, not trying to be a jerk to you, I think you're awesome. I just don't like seeing bounties being essentially yoinked by people who can't possibly complete them, especially since this means that the people who can can't get them.
nothing personal taken, I know this, but if you think I'm the only one doing it, you'd be incorrect good sir!
I think that's the annoying part about it, I know I about threw my chair through a window when Jarrod got a lucky snipe contract that made him the avenging arrow or whatever in between axk/bite.
Bounties are cool bounties are rad, if people left cities. although I don't leave city often so dunno what im talking about.

To be fair, I did get a lot more kills than just hoping to get a lucky hit
Definitely a different beast with the bounties though, versus contracts. Choosing to try and get a lucky hit on a specific person versus knowing you have a ridiculous KDR in raids and everyone else you can just assassinate wherever.
Cascades of quicksilver light streak across the firmament as the celestial voice of Ourania intones, "Oh Jarrod..."
Lorielan, the Jade Empress says, "You have been warned, Apostle."
You say, "I do not answer to You, Betrayer. Our business is done when I declare it so."
Lorielan levels Her staff at you, a foreboding pale light emanating from the sphere atop it to surround you. In response, the air hazes,
condenses, and hardens, trapping you in a chill prison of jade.
With a resounding 'CRACK' the stone fractures, the abrupt shift in integrity allowing gravity to shatter your body into a thousand jagged
shards.
You have been slain by Lorielan, the Jade Empress.
So worth punching Valeo in the face for. New @Lorielan is top notch, would sass again.
Holy frick, since when was she back?!?

Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
You glance over Jhui and see that his health is at 10244/10244.
That actually turns me on so much. Truefavour, algiz on that. Full plate huge defense. Staff just great. Raido, earring, allied vodun summon.
He's a fucking raid boss.
he's a raid boss that doesn't respect aggro rules, he'll go after your healers first.

My new quote is just now simply my new forum signature. Enjoy everyone.
(For those less-than-informed on Monk Telepathy, the "-->" denotes mind sapience, meaning I can see the actions of whoever I have mind locked at the time, in this case, Ernam)

Ernam gets points IMO for using the proper contraction of "we are" under duress
Kisharo, of Mhaldor says, "Still I should of been able to do something."
You say in a thick, hoarse voice, "Should've been, you mean."
Kind of irks me that something this small was being corrected. Technically he didnt state anything incorrectly. Stop being Amunets.
Technically, he did, as only uncultured swine use 'should of' instead of 'should have' or the appropriate contraction of "should've". Unless you're writing it like this: You should, of course, always strive for proper grammar.
I think the point he's making is that that conversation took place in says, so phonetically "should of" and "should've" would sound identical in that context, which is also likely the reason Kisharo has it mistaken. Either that, or that minor grammatical mistakes like that (ones that don't incorrectly convey meaning) are best ignored unless the person has demonstrated that they'd be fine with being corrected.

You say in a thick, hoarse voice, "No they don't."

That was a carefully calculated conclusion!
You have emoted: Kerria adjusts a bone crown of horns.
You say, "I'mma mhaldorian."
You say, "Death Dame."
You chirp out a cheerful, "Yay!" with an excessive amount of cheer, positively abuzz with excitement.
