So I'm diving, and have just stepped out of the bell. I always squint each direction first before moving, and I saw this:

Have never seen just gold sitting there on a fresh dive. Hmmmmm

Yeah, largish amounts come in strongchests, medium amounts in coral chests, small amounts just loose. Any of the above can also be buried.

Yeah, I know all of that, I'm just saying it was just sitting there, didn't have to kill anything for it. It was only 96 gold, just never seen it already out on the ground like that before while diving.

You do.  Some of the fish you kill drop gold and even shards.
