Now that we have alchemists and concoctions are obsolete, we can just turn all forest and jungle rooms to mountains, and delete Eleusis, Oakstone, and forestal classes. Exterminate will be changed to kill fish instead, adding some conflict to fishing.

If you start killing all the fish, there will be no fishermen. If there are no fishermen, there will be significantly less for me to do, and Kinilan will start griping. So...no. [-(

There will be an ability in seafaring to restore a fishterminated ocean area, so there will be even more ships at sea because people will be refishenating.
lol @ unfair conflict when only one side can ever be the aggressors. Also, 8-12 rooms is a huge amount.
Hmmm...they should give forestals the ability to Scatter Grass Seed and Plant Sapling. I think it would be interesting for someone to step outside of Mhaldor and see greenery covering the island. Though, the fog would probably complicate that. There you go, ripe with RP potential, especially since the Twin Lords are away.

I would actually fully support this. Use part of your grove's supply of sunlight to turbo charge the growing process and it starts to spread naturally from there?

So change that, or get rid of forest conflict. Don't gimp it so it may as well not exist. Those of us in Mhaldor and the OIA don't have a choice, we can't just avoid the conflict. And if we try, and end up just dying over and over, we're punished for that. We don't have the numbers to take on Eleusis head on (and probably never will) So unless they start responding with smaller parties, and not a gank squad, we're going to have to use other tactics.
I like planting on the isle being feasible. But I reckon in return, fog should damage Mhaldor's enemies. Only seems fair.
I know a guy who's afraid of yawning in public because someone will spit in his mouth and, direct quote, "That's it, you're done, you've got hep". Is that what you mean?
I agree with the current sentiment in this thread, perhaps we should make our own? I agree that forest conflict is broken, but I certainly don't want for it to go away. I'm going to make a thread in the Dais, and hopefully, we can responsibly hash out some ideas there. Please continue with the quoting.
These threads have been done to death. The absolute best thing to do re: forest conflict is to delete it because it's so heavily skewed in favour of the aggressors. Eleusis is forced to defend whenever Mhaldor wants to holo (RIP ) or exterm with absolutely no way to respond in kind; if you get ganked in that situation, so be it. I'd roll 20 deep at all times if I was in Eleusis's situation, not gonna lie.
There are plenty more balanced avenues of conflict that Mhaldor can engage in with Eleusis, such as shrines, city raids, etc.; that Mhaldor does not have the numbers for that does not mean that forest conflict is suddenly not all kinds of stupid.
agree, who needs to develop unique avenues of conflict in a constructive manner, we shall all be the same in a static world, life in plastic, it's fantastic.

What forest combat needs is a shot of testosterone right in the boy boulders and duct tape over the mouth over the Eleusian pacifists that propagate this sad trend. They are begging themselves out of conflict so they can be left to their own selfish devices. This I cannot abide.
I, along with many others, have selflessly given purpose to Oakstone/Eleusian membership as a whole. Without us, and forest combat, they lack a united purpose. Without purpose, its these people that need exterminated, not just their trees.
Be careful what you wish for. The same guys crying for forest combat to stop are the same ones that seek to put a harpoon on any type of conflict across Achaea, this is just the precursor. Their cowardly, infectious, conflict-avoiding attitudes mar their ability to think clearly, and thus, I make my final judgement.
Forest combat needs upgraded. Exterminations should rattle through Grove-Preservation like a thompson sub-machine gun goes through a yellow bus full of retards. Embrace forest combat, eat your god damned vegtables, or quit Achaea. You're not going to weep and issue your way out of this one. Have some self respect and dignity. Suck down a bottle of cheap thunderbird and get back some of that courage you guys had in your prime. The old forest leaders are turning over in their graves listening to these new, tight pant-wearing, emo leaders that are crying for mercy all while warm piss trickles down their leg, the only warmth that embraces them in the cold harsh realities of the greatly essential forest fight.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
