Trans fitness doubles natural endurance regen (so it doesn't boost things like grove rain, but does apply to sleeping).
Stacks additively with ring of endurance, for a total of 3x regen if you have both.
Edit: With less than trans, there's only a chance for the doubled regen to apply on each regen tick, proportional to lessons spent. So at halfway to trans, you'll have a 50% chance of doubled regen each tick.
Having done Horkvali Magi long ago. I will tell you that you won't be able to really hunt as a magi for any length of time using your staffcast or stormhammer. Aerith and I both got a bastard sword proficiency and bashed with a bastard sword. For PvP it's going to leave you at a definite disadvantage. Stoneskin and Diamondskin both scale with int so they won't be nearly as strong as they were when Aerith and I first did the Horkvali magi thing.
This doesn't really apply now that horkval is only -2 int compared to the high-int races, and str/int doesn't affect damage as much as it used to.
Edit: A Thoth's Fang would easily beat unartied staffcast for a con-specced horkval though (ignoring the fact that for the price of the fang, you could get a collar and robes/diadem).
With that said, and with the dirk damage reduction that went into effect not too long ago, would the Thoth's really beat the staffcast anymore?
Even with the reduced damage, Thoth's Fang still beats unartied staffcast at equal str/int, with weapon runes. Without runes, staffcast wins in DPS, but the dirk's speed makes up for the lower DPS.
I haven't found horkval Mage bad at all. I can tank things I couldn't as a con spec grook, and stopping to meditate isn't bad at all. When it's time to regen up, I'm normally ready to take a break anyway. As for speed, I don't have much to compare it to, but it hasn't felt bad, so I'm pretty happy with it.

I wonder if anyone has perfected using stormhammer while bashing.
I'd imagine it would be fun (read: not really fun) to make a script that knows how many of each level of stormhammer it takes to kill a mob and then calculates on whether it should target undead1 undead2 undead3 or undead2 undead3 undead1 based on damage/crits done and then converts your bashing macro to staffcast as soon as it's more efficient.
There was a post that detailed the contribution to damage done of int/str/etc. While it was quite informative, a more subjective question seems to be beneficial to me here. Considering Magi, what is a good enough threshold of intelligence to get into PK? I'm very, very interested in hunting, but would like to hold my own. I'd like to have as much constitution I can squeeze out, but still pack enough of a punch to deal with most enemies.
With stoneskin and diamondskin, I had thought about trying con specced Horkval, but that leaves my int quite on the low end. Would it be a shot in the foot for PK?
What would be the optimal hunting race for a Magi? Race isn't something I'm too hung up on now, as I can make the RP I have in mind fit for just about all of them.

Please don't think I'm just rushing to the forums to avoid doing the gruntwork! I have my own assumptions from the piles of threads and comments I've read, but it's often nice to hear the opinions of more current folk.

Zero. That jerk totally had a bugged bastard sword, too.
Quick housing question: Do rooms in a house and plots on subdivision map coincide? I.e. do you have to buy two plots to have a two room house - or do you just need the one plot and can make as many rooms as you like? Originally thought it was the latter, but most people seem to have tracts of land adjacent to each other, which made me wonder.
The above is still correct! Otherwise out-of-sub houses would be a biiiiiiitch.

Hmm.
I made one that swapped targets to bypass shielding (not sure if that still works on mobs). What you're talking about would just require a table like the slain tracker with an added "average health" value and some pre-defined values (doesn't really matter how you work the numbers as long as they match up) for staffcast and stormhammer damage and then a function to do the math and send the attack accordingly after gathering some data.
I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.
It's already nearly the 11th GMT, and there still has been no release of either the Logosmas decorations or the HoHoHo society. The first is debatable, the second is more worrisome since that tends to be logging-in prizes for so many days.
Will we be seeing either fairly soon?

if they're releasing logindays january, I'm going to be mad
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
@Tecton, or anyone available who knows:

You'll be seeing both soon, yes! We're not doing 21 days for the HoHoHo society, something shorter!
How do I put char marks on rapiers? Or is that a House denizen customization? I really want to make one of my rapiers different so I won't confuse the two. Thanks!

Also, Anedhel's hydra got killed a lot, cuz of targeting errors. Stormhammer has no mercy.

ETA: Last I knew! No idea if it's been changed, but I'd be way surprised if it had been.

How much shorter? Will people who are gone for the days around Christmas be able to pick it up like in previous months?
I have undressed a god.
