Just wondering for what reason Lord Thoth was killed and how I'd go about avenging him(After all I spent countless hours with him while he was still ushering adventurers back to life), and would their happen to be a scroll detailing the event of his death (Help Thoth just mentions it sadly)

Events news #534 tells of Thoth's murder and #535 has the Gods deciding Slith's fate.

We also found out during the Black Wave event that the Tsol'teth had masterminded/helped engineer/took advantage of the situation in order to harvest the divine essence from Thoth's death, and used it for their genetic experiments to create themselves the god Tlalaiad.

It's not for no reason, though. Instinctual reactions are usually acceptable, I thought. Things you can't really control, like puckering your lips because of something sour. Goes too far when you tell the person what they're feeling, or what they choose to do because of something.
@Camroth you'll probably have to pay for a customisation, but you can email customisations@achaea.com to see what they'd do about it, or if they'll charge you at all.
They aren't really "screwed," since they can spend the time others are spending getting dragon/marque/etc. on other resolutions instead. The resolutions are repeatable.
That's true, but anyone who's in the 97-98 range is at a major advantage, since that's 15 resolutions for a fraction of the work of any of the other resolutions.
@Farrah unless I missed it on the forums, it was never specified that you can only start resolutions in January. There was one line in the news announce that could be interpreted that way, but I don't think that's actually the case due to ambiguous wording.

It's instinctive (though it varies from person to person; I personally couldn't imagine puckering just from tasting a fresh lime, let alone smelling it), but I would disagree with it being beyond your control. A lot of reflexes can be suppressed pretty easily.
As for salivating, it's not really controllable but it also depends on preferences; what makes one person's mouth water could make another person gag.
I really wish there had been a few other things that gave mementos... exploring, mining, chess/other board games, world games, and so on. It just seems a bit boring and generic to have the "kill x amount of things* for most of them.
To be honest that completely killed my motivation to finish resolutions.
it's kinda like a greathunt, you wanna get so far ahead everyone behind you gives up (except for @Iakimen in 650, arg!). Then you get to coast the rest of the way.

perfume: grass, bacon, mango, lemon
The sharp tang of sour lemons lingers in the air around you, the astringency of the fruity notes making your mouth water.
Making your cheeks pucker, the strong aroma of lemons inundates your olfactory system.
ETA: Weird to see someone walking around sallivating and making kissy faces for no reason
Could be wrong though.
Can we make the marque/dragon/staff resolutions retroactive?
Since those three can't be redone, anyone who has already won/achieved them is screwed.
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
Not that I agree with making them retroactive.
got gud
How is anyone going to afford whatever people who are completing resolutions multiple times in January decide to buy?
Wondering how many of those things Jhui and Proficy have by now. Weep.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised to find out that they were repeatable.

On the other hand, Achaea's version of AXE body spray confirmed.

or I'm just lying about my total, who knows!
