So the cooldown on the Talon looks to be 5 minutes (please correct if wrong)
Have to ask, the is the point of this thing then? If I can't give myself caloric through freeze anyway, what's the issue with letting me use it more than once every 5 minutes? If this is a talisman, why is it completely inferior to a vial, or does this have some other use beyond the single defense application?
You can give yourself the defence when caloric goes down once right? Or you can apply for shivering/use it right? Sounds like it saves you an apply balance to me
Ugh. Quotes. It also allows apply while off a long salve bal if the person does one freeze at a time (think Druid does this?). And saves caloric with general upkeep on death/login. Minor, but it's not a rare talisman.
The deep-set, sanguine eyes of this stout creature flick myopically from behind glutinous eyelids, each lethargic blink casting a moist film over the lens. Akin to a large reptile, the ormyrr looms just shy of seven feet, his muscular body rippling with health and vigour. Mottled grey scales cover the entirety of his broad frame and each precise row overlaps the preceding ones, creating the image of armour. Riddling his upper body is a vast maze of healed scars and vivid gashes, his shoulders hunching forward as if unable to bear the weight of his misshapen head. A series of protruding ridges adorns his back and flows downwards from his skull, the bony masses petering out just below the waist. Razor-sharp claws nestle languidly into the pits of huge palms, flexing unconsciously as the ormyrr shifts his hefty girth from one meaty leg to the other.

That one's "a muscular ormyrr"
The others:
"an ormyrr guard"
Muscle and sinew sit in thick deposits on the calves, thighs, torso, and arms of this armoured ormyrr. A tough, keratin scute covers the draconic humanoid, and thick, heptagonal scales protrude from the skin on his forearms, legs, and the crown of his head. Uniformly dark in colour, the tall ormyrr has a broad, flat head that lacks visible ears, and a flat nose. Double-membraned eyelids blink in rapid succession as the guard keeps careful vigil over his surroundings. Mottled lips curl back in a sneer to reveal a row of stark white teeth with slightly pronounced canines. The ormyrr wears a set of padded armour and carries a massive bardiche with apparent ease.
"an ormyrr priest"
Thick velvet robes dyed amaranthine and accented with coquelicot stitching adorn this priest of the ormyrr. His face lies hidden within the deep folds of the fabric, with only his flat nose and the gleam of his lutescent eyes visible from within the shadows. His grey-toned, scute-covered hands are exposed, each thrice-jointed finger ending with an overgrown, chalky talon. A sharp, metallic tang hangs in the air around the priest, his laboured exhalations perfuming the air with the unnatural scent.

Is the Crucible supposed to go through Starburst? It also seemed to be killing people while they were already dead and counting the numbers towards the sanction, from what we could tell.
No, it seems to be buggy. I suspect there's an issue with the order in which things are happening when they die, with crucible proccing before rather than after the attack gets processed, resulting in both killing them.

I always pictured ormyrr like that dude from the Starjammers
A frenzied cleric screams, "Like more than one halo!"
We should have ormyrr back again in a new bashing ground, the underwater ruins of old Shallam (the ormyrr themselves will be undead, of course). Tecton denied me, but we're under new management now!
- (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place." - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely." - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")." - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish." - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

Have you bugged it? I don't want to put a duplicate in if you have.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
Didn't have any serpents available in game, so: does the alarm vibration work on phased people?
I don't think so, but it's been a long time so I'm not sure. Either way, evade doesn't trigger alarm vibes, so if the serpent is cautious or knows it's there then they can bypass it with or without phase.
Any idea why Wundersys version rc3 is setting 'silver dragon' as my class? Also, if there's an alias to manually set it back to 'dragon' that anyone can recall, that'd be great!
Also, while I'm at it, doesn't Wunder have a toggle for vaulting/remaining mounted? I could've sworn it did, but since updating, it seems to have poofed. Am I making that up?

It's probably due to a change to the GMCP tag for class, a while back it changed from your lesserform class to "<colour> dragon", with race changing from "dragon" to "<colour> dragon" at the same time.
Tharos, the Announcer of Delos shouts, "It's near the end of the egghunt and I still haven't figured out how to pronounce Clean-dat-hoo."
Well, it ordinarily wouldn't be a problem, but I think the GMCP tag must not actually be that, or otherwise it's looking for just 'dragon' under class, because it's not raising any class defences

Any idea why it doesn't like TRACE when it lists it in the help file?

Poor BM ent .
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
