Is the increase in fishing ability a function of lessons learned in Survival or is it dependent on skillrank only? e.g. is 0% Fabled the same as 75% Fabled, etc.?
I have 150 Lusternian credits that I'll trade over for Achaean ones. Let me know if you're interested!
Would I be better off getting an epicurean sash for +1 int or a collar of ceylon for 10% increased magical damage? I'm specifically thinking of my thornrend attack. If it matters at all, I'm at 18 int when in viridian.

Collar, though int increases your mana and willpower as well.
There is a blademaster shin artefact. I was wondering if there is a reason that no kai artefact exists?
Give us -real- shop logs! Not another misinterpretation of features we ask for, turned into something that either doesn't help at all, or doesn't remotely resemble what we wanted to begin with.
Thanks!
Current position of some of the playerbase, instead of expressing a desire to fix problems:
Vhaynna: "Honest question - if you don't like Achaea or the current admin, why do you even bother playing?"
Sorry for posting here so close together, but I couldn't edit the other post to add this question. I was wondering which would give me the better "bang for my buck", gauntlets or knuckles. I play a xorani monk with 16 str right now. Do diminishing returns exist here, and if so, where do they begin in stats?

Gauntlets first, tbh. Good for a multitude of classes, on the offchance you move away from monk. Also extraordinarily good for Dragon if/when you get it.
Ok, I have a level 1 CON belt, SoA, and level 1 pendant, what would be the next sensible purchase for PvE? I'm level 82, Magi. 16 Int, 12 Base CON (13 with belt).
Should I try to improve bashing speed, via diadem, collar, or sash, or should I pursue defense via sip ring, bracelet, or something?
Has anybody actually seen lagua on blunt weapons bypass rebounding? I hit myself 40/40 times the other day attempting to get through it. Can't tell if it's bugged or what, or if my RNG is terrible.
ANNOUNCE #4279. It only bypassed rebounding at the very beginning, and it was just the worst thing. For DWB, you'd go to break left/right, hit rebounding, and one hit would go through but the other wouldn't, breaking one limb and ruining your prep work. It was pretty quickly changed to the random effect that disables shield for a few seconds, but the AB was never updated.
I still don't know what Laguz does for blunt weapons, though. Appears to have no effect of its own.

Ah thanks for that. I couldn't remember what it did and the AB file was not really helping me at all.
And I get that things had to be changed, but I feel like they forgot runeblades were a thing. While hugalaz/nairat/whatever/pithkan are still really powerful, I don't feel like Lagua/lagul/laguz got a whole lot of love in what the actual effects were, instead of the rng effects of the added runes. Maybe that's just me being nitpicky.
Not sure about that. Lagul/Laguz/Lagua just added +10 to each stat before Weaponmastery, effective but boring. They got a -lot- of love for bladed weapons when Weaponmastery came out. Lagua makes torso DSB essentially a one-shot at 19 STR, Lagul's bleeding is powerful for DSL, and Laguz bonus on limb breaks give Runewarden an edge against Paladin/Infernal opponents.
Blunt weapons feel a bit lackluster, though admittedly the damage and inherently faster limb breaks don't allow much "buffing" without getting unreasonable. Not being able to touch shield vs DWB can be lethal at the wrong moment, but I suppose 2H kinda suffers because no one wants to touch shield against them anyway.

Diadem is the first artie that you should be aiming for as a magi. Period

upgrading to level 2 crit pendant might be worth it. More crits are always better in hunting and it costs only a third of diadem. This assumes you're gonna be strictly PVE though.
My geography while improving is still utterly reliant on WALK TO. I'm wondering whether I'm just missing a trick with the mapper (I don't really want to have to make my own with so many thousands of rooms), or whether there's an available (either free, or I don't mind paid) up to date CMUD map with an idiotproof guide on how to use it? For Aetolia someone had a Mudbot configured map that let you easily find room numbers and GO SPRINT/GALLOP/WINGS etc - is there anything comparable here?

Crits are inconsistent rng. Diadem is a solid, consistent jump in dps. It also makes you much more viable in combat. Speed matters
Crits are consistent dps increase over the long term, short term randomness isn't going to make a difference. I believe in the mid-80s someone mathed out that a 2% increase in crit (one crit pendant level) is about a 6-7% increase in dps, which is several times more damage/credit than a diadem would give.
That said, yeah, diadem is useful outside of bashing, and speed can be useful in harder to quantify terms than just dps if you care about that.
Assuming I haven't screwed up somewhere in my spreadsheet: On average, a 2% crit bonus (without any other crit bonus) is a ~2.8% DPS boost at level 80, ~5.5% at 99. Upgrading from L1 to L2 pendant (still without any other crit bonus) is ~2.9% more DPS at 80 and ~5.8% at 99. Diadem is about a ~17.6% DPS boost on average, so it gives more DPS per credit.
The more crit bonuses you have, the more effective they are. But even for a human alchemist with lucky (estimating that to be a total crit bonus of about 3%, which is likely a bit off), you'll need to be level 98 for upgrading the pendant to level 2 to give more DPS per credit than a diadem.

Got 700-1000c. Undecided if I should upgrade belt from 1>2 (600c) and WoT (300c), or upgrade regen from 1>2 (550c) and WoT (300c)
orrrrr straight defensive with WoR (800c)!
I dunno
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
I'd probably go for regen upgrade myself.
