@Aerek So on my alt Jester if I use my Hocuspocus, there is a pretty big chance of someone simply not falling for it anymore? Such as a tell, or a shout?

It's not really "anymore", lifevision has worked that way since 2001. Lifevision has a 50% chance to detect an illusion, clarity has a 40% chance (and blademasters with the artefact can have both lifevision and clarity at the same time, for about a 70% chance total).
@CyndersSwitched to your alt for the forums then? Luckily they have similar names ;D
And on topic, I actually thought most classes had some form of lifevision, but that's good then. Illusions are great for RP I've noticed.
On that note, which classes HAVE life vision? My apostate does and I thought that was necromancy, so I'd guess infernal as well. That often means priest/paladin does too. I actually thought every class had some form of it.
Occultists have astralvision, which just gives deathsight and lifevision at the same time. Infernals and apostates have lifevision. Blademasters have clarity, which is almost identical to lifevision, except it's a bit worse at detecting illusions (and it stacks with lifevision). And then anyone can buy the Mask of Lifevision artefact.
in regard to jester hocuspocus, they will not fall for affliction illusions/cure illusions v serverside curing. They will still fall for coloured tell illusions, say illusions etc - as they are not directly affecting the character with an affliction as such. If they have lifevision defence, there is a chance they will see *Illusion* before or after the illusion has appeared, alerting them it is an illusion.
Serverside has stopped affliction and cureline illusions working v people, not generic illusions such as Blah tells you, "Hahaha." as an illusion, as that is just a generic illusion and only detectable via lifevision.
If they have lifevision defence, there is a chance they will see *Illusion* before or after the illusion has appeared, alerting them it is an illusion.
It will only appear before the illusion now, not after.
Any code to block forum messages from certain people? I know Daeir has that one that blocks forum posts.
It's possible, but difficult. Blocking the notifications would be the hardest part. Just hiding the message when looking at your inbox would be easy, but that alone wouldn't do much, and you can just delete the conversation at that point.
Ha, I was joking. Didn't know that is who we were talking about. Ignore is such a funny function. Would be better to do it all client side so they have no clue. Let them ramble to their hearts content, and you avoid ooc by passes.
What level range is considered the doldrums of bashing? I imagine there's a time where the things that give xp have too much health for someone who doesn't crit frequently.
Yeah, it's called don't open it. Way to easy to avoid. Way to go though, Vicious.
Yes, encourage him further to go around two ignores by using forum messages.
Edit *All removed* No. Not doing this. Not interacting with this nonsense further. I don't message this girl. obv with her post she's trying to portray that I send her messages constantly when I haven't even looked at anything since the 17th. Please just leave me alone

umm...should I like bring my inbox history up because I'm pretty sure that for every 1 message I sent you I got 3 in return. Leave me alone. I don't care about anything about anything in regards to such. I don't message you, inbox you, skype you, facebook you, email you. I don't do anything like that because I have my own awesome life to live and I'm more into myself right now.
You have sent me plenty, you're still trying to start problems by attempting to kill a mount that you thought was mine a couple nights ago but actually belongs to Skarash, and after Kadin blocked you, you're still messaging him on forums. I've told you many times we'd like to be left alone, and I mean it. No more messages, please. That goes for him too, or else he'd not have blocked you. I'm not trying to get you forums banned or shrubbed, I just want this over with. Thanks.
Edit: it also was not me who originally brought you up. I had merely asked for a solution to the problem initially without bringing up any names.

For me it was 85 to 95. Don't take these as exact numbers because it was a long time ago, but there's definitely a point in the upper 90s where your crit rate picks up and makes things easier.

80s is the worst. High enough that you have to work for it, but still low enough that each death is significant - and crit % is still too low to take on better xp areas.
A lot of people park in low 90s as by 91 I think it is you're only half way to Dragon, but by mid 90s if you can make it that far it speeds up considerably.
Is anyone else experiencing completely crippling lag? It's not my internet because everything else is loading fine. I don't think it's mudlet because all my commands for Svo go through as they should, but it doesn't seem to be the server either because no one I've talked to is having the same issue. I haven't had lag this bad since we crammed 200+ people into one room for Bal'met.
For reference of what I mean by crippling:

The bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. A rune resembling a horse
has been sketched into the ground here (raido: return location). A runic totem is planted solidly in
the ground.
You see exits leading east and west.

There are 2 imperial guardsmen here. Standing atop a raised marble dais an imposing cast-iron forge
dominates, fire and heat radiating from this massive shrine to the Smith. Lying flat on the ground
is a key-shaped sigil. There are 2 venerable monks here. A handsome bartender mixes drinks here.
Rapier glinting in the light, a dashing young troubadour fences with an imagined foe. A runic totem
is planted in the ground. A small, well polished metal plaque is mounted on the northern wall. A
sigil in the shape of a small, rectangular monolith is on the ground. An obsidian eye sigil is here.
A shimmering orb lies here, illuminating the surrounding area with a slight glow. Spreading its
majestic golden wings, a giant eagle searches the ground with piercing eyes. There are 2 dark grey
iron chairs with a covering of white fabric sitting next to a dark grey iron table here. A dark grey
iron table is here.
You see exits leading north (open door), northeast, east, south, and west.

Only if they have lifevision, which is only a class or two, plus the artefact.
Or do crit bonuses not stack?
4 classes iirc

Serpent, Blademaster, Apo, Infernal from what I know
Serpents don't, Occultism does

2 on Windcutters 6 on Seastriders 10 or 11 on War Galleys

3 on windcutters. don't know about others.

79 to 89 suck. 90's were a breeze. If you can stick it out through the 80's, you should definitely keep going because the 90's are a huge improvement.
91 is only halfway to dragon? I didn't realize the curve was that steep, holy crap.
Halfway in sheer number of xp, in terms of effort 91 is well past halfway because your bashing speed and xp/min are so much better at that point
