You can use the ice figurine for any 50cr customization btw, which means making it non-decay/resetting or item description if the first two are already on the item.
"Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"
Does customising your staff still cost credits, or is the first time free like falcons and full plate if your Patron is willing? And if you do get it customised, does it stay like that every time it's summoned or does it actually require non-decay?
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to? You will never find that [everlasting] life for which you are looking. When the gods created man they allotted to him death, but life they retained in their own keeping. As for you, Gilgamesh, fill your belly with good things; day and night, night and day, dance and be merry, feast and rejoice. Let your clothes be fresh, bathe yourself in water, cherish the little child that holds your hand, and make your wife happy in your embrace; for this too is the lot of man."

requires non decay, and Patron/Matron can do it for free if it's the first customization request you ask of her/him. they could customize a non-decay staff, but that'd be a waste as it'd be lost completely as soon as it decays @Jhaeli.
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
Can you apply a customization to a BM sword maybe?
Afraid not, no. Blademaster swords are not customisable.
@Tecton that's always something I've been curious about. Is there a particular reason for that, or is that just a 'we don't want to do it' situation? Seems like you could slap some heavy restrictions on it (and customisations already require admin approval, so that's nothing new), and you'd have yourself a decent credit sink.
EDIT: Just off the top of my head, limiting blade names to one compound word, two words or 'Word of Word' format could probably handle it.

Mainly because it goes against the entire "sword is made for the person" roleplay.
Does weaponlist not show stat changes in weapons from runes? And can you smudge runes off weapons. The game says I can when I smudge (rune) off (weapon), saying that there is no such rune on the weapon, but the help file only states that you can smudge off totems and yourself.
Can someone tell me if Inkmilling is worth Transing? Can do it right now, and I have tattooing up to Boar, but not sure if it's something worth grabbing. The reagents seem like they might be Hell to gather, but that could also give me something to grind for I guess.
Depends on why you want them. If you're a Shaman or Runewarden, it can be helpful, but there are enough cheap inks around now if you just want them for your personal tattoos/hunting runes and trans'ing Tattoos would probably do a lot more for you with Superscribe.

Easy to get, but tedious/boring. My character, however, did a ton of reagent bashing in her 30's and to this day I'm still using what I gathered and she's 94 now. You can make a decent income selling inks, too.
You'll get more utility out of finishing Tattoos first, especially if you aren't using inks for Runelore, which is why I suggested it first. It isn't that Inkmilling and Gathering are bad pick ups if you've got the lessons to spare for them as well.

Is Evolution a thing in Achaea? Or is it Intelligent Design? Or a combination of both?
This is where reading the help files for the races would come in handy.
I have read them. There is talk of humans being the offspring of a godly rape, Xoran being from another plane of existance, Horkvals from being from elsewhere, mhun being a cousin of humanity. However, it doesn't answer the question of whether Evolution as a concept where one species becomes another over time through mutation is a thing in Achaea. Hence my question.
Tharos, the Announcer of Delos shouts, "It's near the end of the egghunt and I still haven't figured out how to pronounce Clean-dat-hoo."
If you'll read, that is precisely what some Mhun are - they stayed in the desert for ages, and then went underground and stayed there for ages. And then they're adapted for their cave life like dwarves. Though some people contest that Mhun are an offshoot of humans created by a Chaotic mutation of some kind, rather than them adapting to that. So really, it depends on what you wanna believe. I doubt there's gonna be a definitive answer one way or another.
From The Origin of the Mortal Races: "Over the years and generations, the humans who had settled there began
to evolve in response to their environment, becoming distinctly
different from the rest of humanity. They took on a gaunt and leathery
appearance due to the lack of moisture and generally did not grow to the
same size that a normal human would. As the elders saw the younger
generations growing further apart from humanity, they decided to call
this new race of beings Mhun."
Help files also describe Mhun as "an evolutionary offshoot of humans".
And then the gods can pretty much do whatever they want (such as atavians being created by Vastar giving humans wings, dwarves being created by Phaestus, everything originally being created by Ayar/Proteus, etc.), so it's basically a mix of intelligent design and evolution.

I'd rather have 50 credits to put towards a cool artefact.
You have an ice figuring and you haven't customised your staff yet?
I want to, but I'd need another 50 credits to make it non decay and 50 more for resetting. That's pretty steep for just a novelty.
Use the figurine on the SoA you should save up to buy.

Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.

Murad exlaims, "I give you to Wealthy Credithoarder!"
@Trey I've never understood either, specially since people can already name normal weapons. Or at least, I've seen a couple of them named.
And you won't understand the cause of your grief...
...But you'll always follow the voices beneath.
I don't want to see name changes, but I think altering the look shouldn't very outside the realm of possibility.
Let's say my blades grip and pommel aren't stylized right in regards to my characters faction/RP. Just a simple change of color or design.
@Tecton what about draw/sheathed customizations?

Not something we currently offer, but it's something I'd like to add when time permits!

@Jhaeli
Thank you then. I probably won't bother in that case, because the reagents seem ridiculously complicated/tedious to gather.

Keep in mind the reagents are mostly gained from gathering, so with just inkmilling and no gathering you'll have to buy the reagents.
Ah, there we go. So inkmilling alone is actually somewhat useless seeing as at that point I should just buy inks?
Thank you then for the answers!
Not useless... Faster inking and opens the back location so you can tattoo there. Also at trans you get more charges per tattoo.
Eat like a caveman, train like a beast. Champions are not born, they are made.

Tattoos is also two and a half times more expensive than inkmilling. At least learn to canvas, that's few lessons for huge gain.
