Would have been far more appropriate on the UUC board.
A lot of people have been getting really frustrated with how long it's been taking for designs to get approved, and having them rejected for things which might come across as essentially nitpicking instead of having real faults. While I see Public as IC, Amarisse has been prone to ignoring the letters given to her, and it does address problems of an IC organisation. Still would have been better on the UUC board.
Can we nuke the public news posts section please?

The class forums are really unfriendly on mobiles. They keep appearing as though they have unread posts when I know I've read them and have gone through them all agsin just to make sure but there's no changes. @Tecton, is there anything different about that section of the tree different to the rest of the forums?
And no, I don't want to read the full website on my mobile. I just want to know how to get it to stop telling me there are new posts when there are not
Maybe just go through and click on the cog icon and select mark read for them all? Might just be some oddity because the threads got moved into those subforums.

Not an official one (I think), no, but someone on here might have one.

I'd guess so. I never saw any variation in scorpion or unstanced.
You can use TALISMAN LIST to see the talisman sets, then TALISMAN SET <set> to see a list of talismans in that set, then TALISMAN INFO <talisman> to see what the talisman does and the pieces required.
It's not all in one place, you have to look at each set separately, but it does give you the names of all existing talismans.
Phereklos has its own specific, unique syntax to enter the area: 'climb down cliffs'.
This is hinted at in the last sentence of Phereklos's help file, but you couldn't reasonably be expected to guess it, because the syntax breaks the rules of quest mechanics, where it's always a verb and a noun. Never anywhere else is there an adverb modifier in quest syntax. A few other areas have syntax requirements to enter them, but they all conform to the same unwritten noun/verb rules as quest mechanics, or they involve a spoken phrase, or else it's explained in a help file like ferries. Phereklos always struck me as unnecessarily, unreasonably obscure.

Fly down cliff, jump down cliff, dive down cliff... Replace all the downs with "off", along with every other damn command I could think of.
Could swear I tried "climb down cliff", but I guess not.
Now is the issue of somehow not choking to death, presumably survival.

What's up with the recent resurgence in gryphon prices? It actually works out well for friends of mine (and me too, if I end up accepting a deal on one sometime while this market lasts), but I'm really surprised how high the prices have gone on them. I know they've been popular in Eleusis, where they were selling in the (already amazingly high) 200K range, and apparently a Cyrenian paid 50 credits for one recently, which kind of blows my mind. I really thought this market was pretty saturated (but clearly not at the moment). I could see some ambitious trader buying a few to put in a stable so they could "corner the Y800 gryphon market", as I chided someone last night, but where is all this gryphon demand coming from?
Does "everyone" know they're getting phased out soon or something? It's the only guess I have, unless most of the players buying them are new or recently returned from dormancy.
They're gryphons and adorable. What other reason do you need?

There's been some bad luck with the ship trades recently. Costs more to get less, and rarely having anything worth doing.
Originally I had ship traded for bird to sell and gryphon. It ended up costing Me around 10 (at 6.5k)credits just to get the items for the trade and post costs. Then there's time, risk from pirates, and other thing that make that price go up.
I had one offer on the bird and that was "how much do you want" "15 cr" "that's too rich, I'll find someone to sell it to me for 5cr"
I ended up selling my old mount and keeping the gryphon. Still have the other bird stowed away, waiting for a home (adopt don't shop!)
Now see, if only you had been an adherent of Asara's maps...
