  • I feel like I'm repeating myself when I say this- EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN OPINION! You may think one thing, someone else might disagree- and you know what? IT"S NORMAL! My friend doesn't like Lux, I think she's amazing (even though I just got her- yes I'm a noob and IDGAF) And you know what else? IT"S A GAME! God damn... it's supposed to be -fun- not 'zomg my epeen is soooo much bigger and better than yours, nuurrrrr.'

Enough with the arguing, seriously. It's a game. -_-
    meh

@Trilliana but my e-peen IS biggger. I didn't farm my 1.5k wins just to feel inferior. I wasted all my time, lost friendships, failed finals, slept through weddings JUST FOR LEAGUE! And I'll be damned if I have to allow anyone to have differing opinions cause CLEARLY, I am more dedicated than everyone who has less wins than me!!!

    /salute

But in all seriousness, let's all just watch Dunkie and get along.

    Meow, meow, etc.

@Jarrod: Pretty sure you already know they're both pro players, you're just trying to be difficult now.
Now, please realise when you should just quit talking and get the thread back on track just like everyone apparently wants.
They get paid to stream League of Legends, not paid to play League of Legends. If you don't understand the difference, I don't know what could help you.

You're hopeless, that's it. You remind me all too much of Azi (Jathu).

Get the thread back on track already, k thanks.

  • Qualifications is the point. I feel like you wouldn't have a clue if Professor Plum did something to you in the Library with a Candlestick.

  • *sigh*

Westrice is top-laner on a team called FXOpen e-Sports. FXOpen e-sports is a professional e-sports team. A professional e-Sports team that sponsors, and pays, their teams to compete in tournaments. In Season 1, he was on a team called Epik Gamer where he became well known for his aggressive Akali play during the Season 1 Qualifiers.. Westrice is a professional League of Legends player and has numerous achievements under his belt.

Wingsofdeathx is currently a sub for TSM. However, he played professionally for Team Solomid Evo until the team disbanded after their loss at the Season 2 NA Regionals. He was also invited to the IPL SXSW All-Stars 2013, which is a paid tournament. He also has a few achievements under his belt.

I think both of them have enough qualifications to be counted as professional league players and not just 'good streamers.'

  • That's cool, they're on teams or were on teams that had/have sponsors.

Because my examples get salaries from Riot.

    See the difference?

There is no difference. You said 'They get paid to stream, not paid to play League of Legends'. You were wrong. They do get paid to play it by their respective teams.

It doesn't matter if a player is paid by Riot, or by an e-sports team. The fact that they get paid, period, to play League of Legends, makes them a professional player.

I'm aware you might not like admitting you are wrong, but you are.

So you're saying that they have to be paid by Riot to be professional players?
    ......................... wow.

Next you're going to be going to one of the Starcraft forums and saying someone isn't pro because they don't get paid by Blizzard.

I thought this would be over after I slept. It's a nice way to wake up too.

It's time to stop posting, @cynlael @layna @jarrod. Take it to PMs, make a Sewer thread, or 1v1 in the Howling Abyss so you can finally see who clearly is better from the three of you.

In any case, I do look forward to the Summer Split. It's gonna start in like two weeks! It's about time we saw some LCS action already.

If only I was not using mobile I'd post fun league videos and stuff. :( oh well,

Ah, wasn't talking about Westrice cause of the team. Just don't pay attention to non-TSM guys if they aren't prettier than Westrice.

Westrice is the prettiest guy in pro-league NA!

  • Too bad Madlife is Thresh king.
And lord of Blitzcrank / every other support.

  • Too bad Cynlael watches streams and argues with everybody but isn't actually good at League of Legends.

  • Guys Trackpad =/= Trackball. Pretty much you need a trackpad that has the separate right/left buttons. My new computer doesn't have that and it is impossible to play since it gets confused were left click ends and right click begins.

    Mouses are much easier.
  • @Tahquil: Oh, right, trackpad. I remember that I tried playing on Starcraft 1 in my younger days with the laptop's trackpad. Finger-callouses were had by all.

  • Ohh, right! I did play League using trackpad once. Was bad.

I can't imagine playing League with a trackball at all!
