  • Miz-train more dangerous than all of Hashan. This is not a fair trade. :(
  • How long ago was it that Hashan stated they were just going around backstab ganking any of the smaller people that raided while they avoided people like Sothantos/Silas/me?

How many pretty much non-comms have you guys ganked now?

And now you bitch when a few Refugees who have been ganked while bashing or for no reason have asked others to gank you guys back.

    Pretty hilarious hypocrisy.

  • DaslinDaslin The place with the oxygen
@Cooper wait, I've not been following these turn of events. So. Hashan started ganking? Scuse me while I lol a bit.
And then whines when ganked back? Oh GOD can we just delete Hashan now?

DONT GANK AND EXPECT NO REPRECUSSIONS.
    Simple as that.
    Naga please.
  • Yeah, they ganked people like Ceer and Beatrice (and a lot of others). You know, the people that raid and attack them all the time.

That's funny, considering Delphinus is the King of said Tattoo.

DSB without torso damage so weak.  Artied kai choke and stormhammer does just as much

  • Wouldn't have died to a level 1 torso dsb anyways. Only does like ~76% and he was full. Need that predamage.

  • 37% without (I assume) torso at what strength against a blademaster in Mir? Hm. Though blademaster is pretty stupid still, dat shit better be getting the nerf bat when classleads are implemented sometime in 2014.

  • 2015. Stop being so hopeful it's disgusting.

I miss classleads. They leave a shallam sized hole in my heart.

  • I haven't been online for any of the Hashan raids, but from the reported numbers if Shallam were to take an "equal" raiding force there's absolutely no reason for them to go if they enter the city itself.

That small a group makes killing guards tricky, if not impossible. No ability to sanction means no room destruction. No experience loss for the defenders means no gain for the raiders. Hashan has made it clear that they don't really care about shrines being destroyed. I'm not sure how there being absolutely no gain is supposed to make raiding inside the city fun, to be honest.

Even if Shallam does start taking smaller groups (and I can't comment on whether they should or need to do so), I doubt you're going to see them actually entering the city.
  • Everyone wants to win.

  • I think this illustrates the point that *shallam isn't looking for fun or to help build Hashan up through conflict, but just looking to grief/squash/farm xp out of the whole deal.

  • Hashan doesn't expect to win. We're not total idiots, we understood this.

I compare all this to the little war Draqoom and Caladbolg waged on the Lotus. I showed total restraint, discouraging 2v1, forbidding 3v1 and 3v2. It was all well and good until they started sending me letters about how they were kicking our asses, claiming to win the war and all that. That's when I brought the House down on them.

As long as Hashan isn't making public posts about kicking *Shallam's ass, then keep the fighting fair. That's how I play the game. Then again, its been made very clear here that I'm a much nicer guy than most people.

You don't seem to be looking for fun for the other side either, considering you want them to put themselves in a position where there's literally nothing tangible for them to gain. Can you honestly say that, even with equal numbers, Hashan's going to provide a fight that's enjoyable enough to justify only being able to come out measurably worse than when you went in?
  • Considering I've netted -40% in this conflict and I'm still gung ho about raiding, even when I'm on cripple duty, I dont see the problem, no.

I'd like to see net xp comparison's from both sides, really.

We were doing fine 3v3 and 3v4 until you started crying to the sentinels that Baatti was helping us.

Was doing mostly fine 3v2 also.

For the total im at 0% (don't have vision of course) But most of my exp was coming from 1v1 fights and I don't usually get kills in raids as a blademaster.

I'm not joining in the conversation on either side, but in response to this, I would like to note that during the war with Ashtan, my net exp was -500% >.> Low 83 to low 78. -40% isn't that bad at all, but my expectations are highly abnormal probably so don't take my opinions that seriously if you think otherwise <.< Someone's going to be losing out on exp at the end of the day, unless you die in your own city.

EDIT: I also don't think that Ashtan was going overboard on me in particular. Won't speak for anyone else, but for me, I don't think much restraint was shown, but it definitely wasn't overboard either <.<

You tell Daijin Nemutaur Rousseau, "My kill."

Hashan is building up, the improvements I have seen internally in just the last week or so are promising. We are learning and starting to see the fruits of our labor bit by bit.

I am not sure why we would concede defeat to a group that sits on our borders and smudges totems though. That seems silly.

Yeah, why don't we use our tanks to raid using the war system?

    Oh wait.
