Very surprised at how well that raid went. Wish I got more involved, maybe when I'm back at my computer. I just have a feeling that, not having a list of 'soldiers' from the Refugees and no hostilities, the ganking will turn into griefing, then issuing and all the fun in these raids is going to end because of a silly 'I gank you cause you ganked him and he ganks someone else cause you ganked that other guy.' Its already pretty lame when I see all of Refugees gathered in one room for an entire rl day, then most of Hashan gathered in the city, usually grouped, just waiting for something.

I am not trying to hide by being in the sanctuary, I just do not want to get 3v1ed while I am afk or studying or looking for glitter gifs to use against Dunn.

I'm not. There's just going to be issuing because people are griefing or coming very close to it, jumping someone because they're a soldier or citizen is not reason enough without mutual hostilities. Also if the raids stop because of that griefing, we'll all be bored again. Thats what Jacen is worried about, preh sure.

I've just not been motivated to bash lately. I keep thinking, 'two more levels' but after clearing Tir, Quartz and some of Dun and not seeing progress.. Innersight would be nice but not 100 cr nice.

Nobody is griefing, nobody has been harassed, not sure where you are getting that idea from. Nobody has been specifically kept from bashing or targeted over and over again, and I have made sure not to kill the same person repeatedly. I might kill Mindry again, but only because she said something absolutely out of line after she died.

Mutual hostilities are soldiers. We will require a list of those you consider soldiers unless the entire High Clan is open? Didn't many in Mhaldor not go soldier because of this at one point? Then again, that was before the no xp loss in city. Garden doesn't have the best track record, even the obvious abuses by the Qashar took a long time for any of them to do anything about. Hashan asked for those hostilities, and then a decade later, nada. To date, we have none. So those who wronged you directly, have at it. Hell, a gank once or twice is fine esp if you know that person raids but there is a limit and I'm not talking to you alone, Tesha. Both sides.

That is a ridiculous outlook. I do not want my enjoyment to come at the expense of the people against me, and I do not want to make anyone feel like they cannot enjoy the game anymore. Above all else, this is a roleplaying game, and the people on the other side matter, too. I would be upset if my side was ganking someone to the point where they did not enjoy the game anymore, regardless of how the Garden feels.

I understand, the lists are not really possible outside of keeping track of who raids the most frequently. I thought you meant people were getting ganked over and over again, and that is something I really want to prevent.

If someone doesn't like getting pk'ed they can just qq or change factions. No one is forcing them to login or play for the losing team.

Also why would you care whether or not other people are enjoying themselves? (Unless you know them irl of course.)

Afaik, Mhaldor made a mutual agreement to only gank people who were active in fights where mutual hostilities are concerned, since we require enlistment. But that is a whole different situation than *shallam-Hashan.

I can understand that and I like that idea. There's no agreement here, though and Shallam never accepted Vayne's proposal so we're two short of it. There's rules that allows every faction to have some leeway but to not go overboard. Beating a non-raider or non-com or someone who just defends, or just rezzes defenders more than once or twice seems just a lot griefy without those relations esp if your goal is to get them to change factions more than anything else and, as Tesha said, the lists are sketchy. That changes for Marks, though. They sign up for it.

There was no request for Ashtani to help out, so far as I know, and their arrival was a complete surprise. If they were so helping, one would think they would not get involved only minutes after the encounter was over.
