* Dementia, Paranoia, and Hallucination afflictions are now focusable afflictions.
This change from April should make early impatience prio swapping pretty effective. If you don't have access to prepping then I'm not sure how viable it is to stall your offense like that but it's better than dying I guess. More passive procs means more focus fodder though, since you used to have to wait until next balance to be able to order your summoned ent to be aggressive.
Used to be that whichever entity you were spamming (usually butterfly) would hardly ever get passives off since every time you enraged it you would reset its aggression and it wouldn't get any chances at swinging. Could potentially change it so that they auto-aggressive when you recover eqbal instead of immediately in order to make it simply a quality of life change (it it's currently a problem).
Edit: Also dismember is way cooler. I'm pretty convinced you shouldn't be able to prep limbs with doublestrike too, seems like pushing too many avenues at once even if it opens you up to parry.
Butterfly stupidity unblind->dizzy (transfix if prone)
badger ~30 bleed vomiting + 100bleed
All the pets' passives seem to tick at the same rate. There is wide variation in time between ticks for a pet, sometimes ~20 seconds between ticks for a single pet, sometimes you'll see multiple from the same pet in a 5 second window. Pet A seems to tick completely indpendantly of pet B so if they both decide to tick frequently things can get pretty crazy.
I haven't spent the time necessary to characterise their tick interval or %chance to proc more accurately than this.
Since the change which allows pets to be summoned aggro, there seems to be more situations where someone will get screwed by pet passives. The chance to get passive confu + stupidity, on top of the baseline chance to get screwed by curing order (i.e. tree/gseal not hitting impatience followed by failure to hinder/turtle which is the prime route to petrify), means that things have got a bit out of hand. Before the change, if enraging on every attack, you would only ever have one pet ticking passively.
I belive the change was intended as a QOL thing to simplify pet management. One option would be to simply revert the change, the other that would keep the simplified pet management would be to have a single pet proc rate and when it fires either uses pet A (if aggro) or pet B (if aggro).
so i started my system kind of from scratch and got away from using svof because i wanted to multiclass with magi and also because i wanted to learn how to do manual offense from the ground up.
here is a log of me fighting yzarin, who unfortunately did not have fist sigils so I guess couldn't wield her weapons or something. magi is a lot of fun so far.

My only comment to the log, that jumped out at me, is that while JANE is good for debugging, JANE is creating a lot of spam that you may not need to see.
edit: @Rangor yes, you're quite right. the system is still in early stages while I work out everything and I'm only now working on general highlights and gags.
The new class has a skill that uses age as a resource. Think of it as...reverse-mana. Depthswalkers can only age themselves up to a certain number of years (determined by dexterity), so they have to manage their usage of those abilities. Age drops back down over time (lol), plus a few active abilities to burst-drop it.
Break point is 6.6 with every strike but air being 1 and air being .6.
Double leg, get pre dehydrate if you can (just need them to have 1 flame stack and you can air/dehydrate). Always have inferno and effreeti up. Strike scorch after break, conflagration at two flame stacks, keep scorching, destroy at five or whenever you feel they're low enough to die (destroy threshold lowers as their health is lower).
Ill probably regret telling you this but fuck it you're a good sport
I usually destroy this way: prep a leg with inferno/efreeti up. get dehydrate before the break with air/dehy as you go. Once you get dehydrate, switch to scorch. air/scorch to break, then scorch a few times by itself when you see leg apply. This -should- get them to 5 burns, and they'll still be off salve balance.

The rate was slowed down. Whether by enough I think its still too early to tell.

His prios were a bit wonky there, but still fun. One before was considerably more over the place
As you push your aeonic might beyond its limits, you feel yourself grow older.
You have now aged yourself by 500 years
What is that?
