    You did moon/humbug on your first attempt, when you should have saved eqbal and done humbug/enlighten. Then, on your second attempt, you did the same thing when you could have done humbug madness humbug enlighten. Hope I help you get 'em next time! You're halfway to scary occultist level already. :)

    Also, @Nylian, check your curing. On his devastate, (I assume because of the arm break), you restored. All in all that's a bad plan because you should be tumbling there, preferrably over an icewall, to avoid dsb instadeath.

    That's good advice in general, but unless I'm misreading Kenway's counter, he didn't have torso damage in this particular case, so I might not have tumbled myself. With torso damage, yeah, DSB is fatal and Tumble required, but without torso, sometimes straight eating that DSB is better than risking the combined damage of Disembowel+Engage or Brain+Engage. That's especially true if the 2H'er gets 6 fracks for an L3 Devastate, since they can get 2 back-to-back DSBs if you stay still, and Impale/DSB, Engage, Impale/DSB if you tumble.

    Granted, Occultist doesn't have the best damage mitigation, and we already see that a single non-torso DSB was enough to kill, so who knows. The tumble-off damage from Impale is comparable to a non-torso DSB, so might have been screwed either way.

    If you have simulacrum up, distortaura, and pop arctar you would be amazed at how tanky Occultist can be.   Even without arctar distortaura/simulacrum is really good.

    It looks like distort wasn't active in the log.

    I didn't. In fact didn't realize it mitigated. You guys rock. So much to adjust.

    Kenway's dry DSB's were hitting me for 40%, setting up orb and distortaura now.

    Are you sure distortaura does anything to modify incoming damage? I did some testing and noticed no difference with either cold or physical damage:

    Distort has never modified incoming damage to my knowledge. It just returns some to the source, but does not reduce it.

    I'd suggest slowly removing your gags to help diagnose these issues easier in the future. Just do one or two at a time until you're comfortable with the extra text. It helps a lot, in my personal estimation, when reviewing.

    Also, see if you can attach timestamps to your prompt. That helps a lot too for review.

    He kelp stacked perfectly enough and has diadem(?) so that his perform hellsight was fast enough.
    Regi was only able to eat bloodroot for the slickness in that time instead of kelp for weariness to fitness to asthma to smoke, but he was stacked so well he wouldn't of had enough time.

    So yes. Broke head, performed hellsight, damnation.

    And damaged head. It's called cheese in this case because the timing window is extremely strict. If the target does anything to slow it down, like moving away or active hindering, then it doesn't work. It relies solely on the target being unmoving for four seconds and kelp RNG.
