It's never really been an issue for me unless I mess up (accidentally spamming in aeon and delaying smoke too much). It'd actually be really nice if you could set serverside curing to not override your commands in aeon (wait for them to finish then resume curing).
I thought serverside already does that? Or do you mean the other way around?
People were in an uproar when Sylvan could do massive damage, but apparently it's okay if an occultist can do it and slap on aeon along with it? And the former's damage is affected by resistances/miniskills. 3-4s isn't terribly long when you're already spending 1 of those on smoking the aeon away. Then hope tentacle rng is in your favour or you have a way of flying?

It retries the cure if u enter something.
IMO It should either completely block your input or let manual input trump the server side command but it does neither so it's in a pretty poor middle ground where you have to pause to get a command through or you have to block commands through mudlet to not input something to restart curing.
There's a 2 second delay from when, even forcing a pipe smoke and then using truename, where you're able to cure out of aeon and do something and my eq recovery from the first truename. That's two seconds to gtfo, or perform hands, or whatever.

i think retard curing is handled better though
Pretty sure retardation works the same. I've had the same problems there. I'm a nub coder so I have to constantly manually pause/unpause and if I don't, I get srsly fked up as I battle serverside in an attempt to leave or touch shield instead of cure.

Hm... you should find a magi to test this. I remember @Kasa saying that serverside doesn't overwrite commands in retardation verifying it with @Krizal.
I cap at 19 str atm, with l1 gauntlets because I took the +con trait to put my health at 6k which is a different limb health bracket. Might change that.
Inspiration was up. Falcon was there, no Demons since we had just moved new rooms and pressure needed to be kept (could have used Fervour).
Fury early is an option, though I don't like to use it too much like that.
Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
It's our RP flavor for house item. We have a Dawnblade that tracks kills.
It's in my impale alias to do the thing with the blade to make it track, say the line (which activates it, too), then impale. It's all flavour, and I do it in Targossian so whiney bitches like @Exelethril don't have anything to say about it.

Atalkez said: You say in Targossian in a silky, smooth tenor voice, "Dawnblade, bear witness to my deeds. Illuminate my foe with Light, that they may see the way."
Have fun never knowing anyone is talking in another language then!
Dw the line's quite specific - i.e "Atalkez says in Targossian etc".
Nothing against you, my little man. I just like to cut out unnecessary lines from combat spam because my echoes are already half blinding and eye cancerous.
You recite the holy verses to pierce the soul of Proficy with purity. Proficy screams in agony as his soul is burnt with purgatorial fire. You rub some curare on a luminous glass longsword. You whip a luminous glass longsword in a controlled arc at Proficy.
Just FYI, Hands doesn't work. I have a level 2 con belt, a level 2 sip ring, and a level 2 bracelet, and it definitely still kills you with you handsing on every eq recovery (I saw it just yesterday!). For the record, Numb'd kill you, as well (58.6% x3 > 140%, that's the numb threshold, innit? Even without a collar, just the Truenames are over 140%), I think?
Some stuff -does- work, but not everything. The crystal argument's good, but prep is so fast, they can just re-prep you after you've touched it, and given crystal's cooldown, you're boned 30 seconds later again, aren't you?
And while enervate doesn't do anything to hinder you, nothing bar paralysis/stun/entangle, afaik, hinders it, so you can't actually stop them from doing it most of the time, apart from running, which, it keeps coming up, is a nuisance versus Occultist.
Yes, an RoF'll save you more than anything else. A class shouldn't be balanced around having to buy an RoF, though, I've always said that (same goes for Alchemist).
ETA: I'm not saying it's unavoidable, it just seems very high damage to me.
Enervate isn't stopped by paralysis, unless I'm misremembering the classlead that added some hindering abilities to it. P sure just prone/stun/sleep/entangled stops it.

This is that bullshit
Gotta go Xoran for that 1 more strength.

I know it's not and that it's a separate blade but it kind of seems like CSGO StatTrak lol
Get that sick slaughter skin
