The artefact that got added to stop earrings definitely caused a lot of Targossian fuss, and none from the A-Team.
The artefact wasn't received will because it cost 1000cr and only works for a few seconds, and stops only ONE ability (earring) and nothing else a few specific abilities, and left a long list of them unaffected.
Also: I bought the damn the the second it came out. Not because I thought it was reasonable to sell it in the first place, or because I thought it was somehow going to significantly impact raids, but purely because it was the only thing in the game available to stop farking instant earrings, even if only for a few seconds.
I'm not saying the artefact was a good idea or bad. I'm saying it was introduced when a counter to earrings was called for, and multiple Targossians complained about the function of it, both what it blocked and how it worked, in addition to the price.
The biggest gripe I saw was that it didn't -only- stop earrings, and it stopped things like Deliver too. The complainers wanted a way that only hurt earrings, and didn't like that it affected themselves as well.

there is an artefact that is anti-earring?
there was for a few days
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!" Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh." Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."
It might be gagged, but since he didn't execute any commands after insomnia (which I assume had hold breath tagged onto it but wasn't listed) wouldn't it make sense he still had breath held?

Breathing is kind of messed up right now because of the changes to make it basically only ever drop if you use eq/balance.
You keep holding breath while stunned, sleeping, etc. In the past, breathing would almost always be dropped when doing certain things or getting hit by certain things, but now it just stays up indefinitely unless you use eq/balance. Pretty silly.
Stunned and sleeping should cancel it at the very least. It's a little too perfect of a defense now that nothing except using eq/balance drops it.
Bard vs Priest. Yeah, I'm a lot higher might than her, but that doesn't mean a fig, I'm still learning
Hmm. All I ever see you use is curare/limerick/pesante. You need to determine if you're going for damage, in which case you should use accentato once they're undeaf and probably some prefarar or other mentals after impatience is stuck, or going for truelock, in which case you have to at some point go beyond using limerick.
For a significant portion of this fight, I don't think you were singing anything at all. You also hit shield several times in a row instead of cantata-ing.

Thanks for your input, much appreciated.
I'm still having issues tracking when impatience is stuck, so keep looping round on it, and also with whether or not they're deaf, so continuing to use pesante. I have a whole list of venoms and voicecraft to work through once I get the tracking sorted. As time goes on, I'll iron out these bugs!
Voicecraft is using the class queue, when it gets chomped by paralysis / stun / etc, it takes a while to realise it's not gone off, and I think I'm still off voice balance. I've added something in to (hopefully) counter that, so I'm not left without using voicecraft!

The actual story was most of us couldn't go and get it instantly and was getting mixed reports of what it works with and what it didn't work with, plus pretty sure it was buggy as shit.
But honestly, if the artifact stops deliver/pilg but does not stop Emp then the organization that is more nerfed over the effect is going to get extremely mad. Especially when there's a huge vibe of Ashtan gets whatever it wants and the admins cater to ashtan's whim.
In reality it was buggy as shit, expensive, and everyone was getting mixed info about it. Other wise people are going to complain about any nerf to the class they get (Even when it's actually a buff and they don't realize it)

Just re-read this log. Anyone else think it's hilarious I killed two people(1 in UW, 1 in Annwyn) while Dajio was attacking AFK-Mizik at the start of this log, then I still make it there for the second kill?
