Absolve isn't actually the best direct goal for a priest in retardation, because of how easily vibes can hinder you combined with how quick you can die (disrupt vibe, to be specific). Dazzle/hellsight/dazzle while keeping deafness up is considerably safer, then you can spiritlash/sap/spiritlash/cure/spiritlash/absolve.
    so.. you still absolve...?
  • Absolve definitely best

    Ja #inb4nemutaur

Tharos, the Announcer of Delos shouts, "It's near the end of the egghunt and I still haven't figured out how to pronounce Clean-dat-hoo."
  • Talking about Aelios' army of totems in Annwyn, bruh.

  • Okay.

The log he posted had message of the UW totems being transferred to him, totems in the UW being uprooted, and the gank happened in the UW. Nothing about Annwyn.

  • Providing reasoning. Okay, forum warrior?

  • @dunn your reasoning providing skills sucked. We don't know about any annwyn totems, so your comment was meaningless to us forum dwellers. Please do better next time so that we will be properly informed of what occurs within the realms.

  • Yes, based Rangor.

  • It's a totem war.   We wait until @Jhui and company log out, then we go uproot and plant ours over them.

...then get countered in the morning.

Vicious cycles, until I totem all of Unsidhe and Sidhe in retort. I WILL NOT BE BESTED!

Ah totem wars, when shrine wars will simply not do

  • A competition in who can waste the most time doing something that results in absolutely nothing accomplished for anyone.

I'm confident that whichever side Jhui is on will win.

  • based or biased?

2015/01/12 Tecton, the Terraformer has bestowed His divine favour upon you. It will last for approximately 1 Achaean month.
  • We've had some fun skirmishes over the totems.  Of course, that's what we're trying to accomplish with implanting them.  But if that's accomplishing nothing, then okay.

At least you get to fight back when we're offline  against these, so it can feel like a win...And mindless uprooting is PvE, which you guys also prefer, I believe?

There are no winners in totem wars, just losers in both a figurative and literal sense.

There's easier ways to have fun and initiate combat.  This seems to just be a thinly veiled excuse to gank people who bother to hunt in UW.

Bigger picture is implanted totems is a somewhat broken mechanic that can easily be abused (not saying this is necessarily the case now, though I think its an asshole move).  I (or any bored runic gauntleted runelorist) could easily implant 50 rooms in 6 hours outside defendable and make things annoying.

But you weren't jabbing me in ret. You were getting me outside of it. :(

I jabbed you in ret plenty. :(  I don't have a bow, so it was full melee every time you dropped it!

Noise is a bitch for me to use in retardation, atm, so if you choose to tumble away while heavily afflicted, you'll die out of ret instead of inside ret, yeah. That doesn't mean I wasn't "jab, jab, jab" ing in ret!

we already initiate combat every other way. UW skirmishes are fun, not sure why you're trying to belittle the amount of fun it can be.

Don't need a thinly veiled excuse to gank people in UW, I already do that.  This just makes it more 'treacherous'.

Is it fun?  Maybe for you, not sure the people actually walking through damage totems feel the same way.  Considering people keep asking me to help uproot them I don't believe its as much fun for all involved as you make it sound.

Implanting totems/totem wars wasn't fun a year or two back, and it isn't fun now.

Although I am not surprised to see it resurface yet again. When's the next wormhole war coming up?
    You missed it!
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!"
Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh."
Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."

That kiddy fighting you do in hashan isn't a proper wormhole war. :( Although I did indeed miss it.

true, it wasn't a wormhole war, it was more of a "hey, x is standing on a worm exit." -use the wormhole, x runs instantly- rinse and repeat until infinity when we got bored and figured to just let them have their fun and be maggots

  • More than willing to continue this totem war outside of an open PK area if you wanna get this train rolling.
