We've had some fun skirmishes over the totems. Of course, that's what we're trying to accomplish with implanting them. But if that's accomplishing nothing, then okay.
At least you get to fight back when we're offline against these, so it can feel like a win...And mindless uprooting is PvE, which you guys also prefer, I believe?
There's easier ways to have fun and initiate combat. This seems to just be a thinly veiled excuse to gank people who bother to hunt in UW.
we already initiate combat every other way. UW skirmishes are fun, not sure why you're trying to belittle the amount of fun it can be.
Don't need a thinly veiled excuse to gank people in UW, I already do that. This just makes it more 'treacherous'.
Is it fun? Maybe for you, not sure the people actually walking through damage totems feel the same way. Considering people keep asking me to help uproot them I don't believe its as much fun for all involved as you make it sound.
There's really no form on conflict that's fun for all involved (unless we could somehow be on both sides). That's not a problem with the conflict though. Is a problem with the people who suck.
Is walking through a damage totem fun? Nope, but getting a group together to go uproot it while we come attack you is (or should be). Way to narrow down the scope.
People asking you to help uproot IS the conflict, dude. You get that right?

Not sure how getting a group to baby sit you while you have to remain still for 5-8 minutes (or longer for those poor SOBs that don't have runic gauntlets) to remove/implant totems is all that interesting. But thank you for telling us all how to have fun.
Dread Emissary Xinna, Thrall of Ruth says, "Duanathar."
ooh ooh, round 2:
You touch your tattoo and a massive, translucent hammer rises up and shatters the magical shield surrounding Atalkez. Atalkez says in a silky, smooth tenor voice, "I'm done with this."

Enmesh between every action = unkillable by any class.
Would be interested to see how either priest or dragon can stop evade without a double leg break (which requires enmeshing to bypass static leg parry).
Was 100% avoidable by hamstring evade at like... virtually any point in that entire fight. You don't evade, which is cool, but Atalkez does. Thus -> enmesh.
Evade balance = me hobbling in losing 1 aff, tops.
...and after this Evade/hobble, there is no piety, and thus zero hindrance. You lose 2 seconds, I lose 2 seconds, and an affliction or two on you, and at that point you're free to run clear and free for the duration of hamstring. This topic I have explained in great detail in the BM thread Caladbolg started, which I expect that you are familiar with.
Since hamstring also prevents mounting and leap, any form of wall also completely negates your argument, if they exist. This is not to distract from the fact that without a wall, it's equally unfeasible to chase with hamstring affliction.
I think it's fair to assume that hamstring was designed to prevent targets from running away, as a facet of BM offense, and was probably not intended to be used for slow prepping.
Can't believe you razed well after my angel aura (with aldar+QW) and still beat me to the legslash before I could shield again.
Note to self, don't shield vs level 3 band.
edit: aha, here: 1.75 second raze, shouldn't have shielded.
You have recovered equilibrium. You bid your guardian angel to raise an aura to shield you. 5429h, (19%), 78%w [I|H|M] [bld(206)] (07:32:07.292)(-100m, 2.0%)

I do have a pretty badass way of saying duanathar, don't I? (how is me going to clouds a combat log?)
You really gotta sit down and look at your skills. Enmesh is no way to bypass parry. And why evade vs Dragon.
I'm implying that I dragonformed in the first place because priest can't stop hamstring/evade. Dragon can. I'm sorry if the class sucks nuts, and double leg break/bite is the only option the class has to killing someone with fitness.

As for Priest, choose when to put pressure or burst down and be ready to chase. I had no problems as Occultist.
Hamstring > chasing anybody, anywhere. Particularly when you don't know which direction to chase in.

Will use other move that works to bypass static parry/hamstring/evade, when it comes into existence.
