Maybe make the group of people worth 10 points divided by the amount of active gov't officials to even out the odds?

    So a bit of history about the "Eleusis and Targ teaming" thing going on.

    Eleusis sold tanks to Targ (and are likely to get shafted for it - rightly so).

    2 Mhaldorians exterminated the Ithmias (4 or 5 rooms) the previous day, as well as incursions from Mhaldor as per the Tank selling over the past few days.

    We decided to vivify - there was no combat between targ/mhaldor at the time we decided to group, the issue was we had abunch of novices who wanted to make some aliases so we ended up spending 30-40 minutes waiting for them. I was frothing at the bit and had already trapped most of the isle whilst waiting.

    Eventually our novices said they are ready, and we decided to go in - at that time Mhaldor had decided to attack Targossas on the Eastern Reaches I believe - pretty opportune time to actually just vivify and get some green on the red and see what Mhaldor decide is mor important - Targossas and the war effort or plants.

    Mhaldor come in and stomp us, Targ sees it as an opportunity ( I imagine? ) to take advantage of a bit of chaos.

    We wiped, after that not sure what happened as I had to leave, but to say we "allied" with each other is not the case and purely speculation.

    From an Eleusian perspective I wanted to get a bit of revenge for the exterms, at the initial planning time, Mhaldor was just sat in their city as was Targ, and after waiting best part of an hour to go, we went.

    As an Eleusian who is ex Targ, I'm 100% against not allying with Targossas as we have differeing views about Nature and its stance within Creation ( not relevant for the forums ) and I see us aiding them as essentially helping a future enemy and want to see the Village stand on its own ( not likely given our current fighter capacity but who knows what the future holds ).

    Obviously we could tell it wasn't coordinated. I referred to planning to attack, but the group taking forever to get ready and then your target is already engaged with another! That's the unfortunate part. Personally I might have called off the attack, or hit another target, but I also understand wanting to get a fight in. It's not a big deal and not like Eleusis is doing this every time, and we'll happily fight them when the war's over some more!

    It's understandable. In all reality, we can't really expect the other cities to put raiding on hold for an entire OOC month just because we're at war with another city. That's unrealistic and not very fun for them. Sure they could target other folks, but you know, if we're doing things like extermination, then we really should expect them to lash back by any means necessary.
