  • I usually pronounce mine as Sa-rath-eye (where "rath" is pronounced like "wrath").
    - (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place."
    - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely."
    - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")."
    - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish."
    - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

  • Not MEE-NA as some probably do, but MY-NAH
  • Ah-Quill. :pleased:

  • Adaele was originally meant to be said ad-ah-lee. Was trying to go for a Gaelic sort of spelling. Not sure it worked..Hehe

  • Mine is easy. "SMASH".
  • Not surprisingly, I got a lot of jokes about it.. But yes the name is pronounced the same as the verb Shimmy. She-Me..
  • MishgulMishgul Trondheim, Norway

OHV-fohn, or OHV-finn. Aodhfionn was originally supposed to be the name, but, you know. Kind of missed the 'h'.'

Tbh I still read it as "Ode Phone," so w/e.
Not going to lie, I still call you Aye-Od-Fie-Onn, like a scrub.
    I pronounced it as: A-odd-fee-own.

There's always a few Achaeans running around that has this happen to them. I was like this to @Rotose for the longest time (thought of it was Rose-toe)
You know, that one thing at that one place, with that one person.

    Yea, that one!

  • BorivojBorivoj Seattle, WA
Bořivoj - BORZH-ee-voi. Honestly, the 'rolling an r into a zh sound'  is about the best I can describe it.
  • TharvisTharvis The Land of Beer and Chocolate!
according to @Aduan, my name is pronounced tar-fish
Aurora says, "Tharvis, why are you always breaking things?!"
Artemis says, "You are so high maintenance, Tharvis, gosh."
Tecton says, "It's still your fault, Tharvis."

  • Aziik was originally meant to be pronounced "As-ick" but so many people I ask say they thought it was As-eek that I stopped caring which was used heh. Though since it's which I use it's As-ick.

  • Both lah-dee-oh and lah-dyoh are fine.
  • AmunetAmunet Spokane, Washington, USA
    Oh, dear. This again?

Since most of the newbs with whom I have interacted since my return won't want to dig through eleven pages of this thread to find it, my character's first name is pronounced, "ah-moo-NET", and her surname is pronounced, "vee-ah-TREE". Enforcing this pronunciation is a losing battle.
My avatar is an image created by this very talented gentleman, of whose work I am extremely jealous. It was not originally a picture of Amunet, but it certainly looks a great deal like how I envision her!
  • SarienoSarieno Spokane, WA
Sarieno = Sah-ree-no. Since people keep pronouncing it -Sah-ry-ah-no I accept that too.

  • Mine is a bit hard to pronounce. His name goes like /rīt/, which is very extremely similar to the barely-used and obscure words, Right and Rite. So the rite of pronouncing Rhite's name is kinda hard to grasp, right? Rhite's rites, right ? :p
  • Um.

El-uh-ween. (ween as in Halloween.) (El as in the the letter L)
