It doesn't mention how, milliseconds later, Rangor was followed by 200 other people and the mother of all lagbeasts
But a little artistic license is to be expected. I've adored the events posts throughout this whole thing - amazing, amazing work.
Or how people started zapping each other the minute they got in...
Well, Rangor was like the only person that went through the pool and could function like intended. The rest of us mostly broke.

Despite not generally enjoying this raid-once-or-more-every-day routine, I have to rave for the fact that despite going to our livery yard to wait for us with three monks with deliverance, the Nihilists (plus whatever fair weather raiders) did not kill a single mount.
Thanks for being classy.
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
Finally got around to making an Occultist alt and I have to say, really liking the Occultist House so far, even if the progression requirements are absolutely apeshit. Challenges are good!
Oh, no you didn't. Man. I'm calling in @Lianca for this one. :P
(Party): Mizik says, "This can't possibly go wrong."
@Daeir, at least you won't have to write a single essay!
The sweltering heat of the forge spills out across the land as the rumbling voice of Phaestus booms, "I want you to know, the Garden reaction to that one is: What?" The voice of Melantha, Goddess of the Seasons, echoes amid the rustle of leaves, "That's the censored version."
@Phaestus for being quite possibly the greatest Divine and player I have ever interacted with in the decade or more I have been slumming around Achaea.
Even in my departure you have been as awesome as ever and I will truly miss kicking it around with you!
Expect me to raid the temple often especially when I need a quiet place to drink!
Unexpectedly, the gift I received was greater than the gift I bestowed.
Thank you.

I'm inferring from @Draekar's post that he faced (either implicitly or explicitly) a choice between being a Phaestean and being a leader in the Good faction, and want to rave about that. I agree that there's a certain degree of interesting complexity added to a faction when there are people from non-aligned orders present in leadership (with both normal roleplay and events that force a choice, as with the Pentharian/Aegis scuffle that forced Aegeans to choose between the Church and their Order). However, I think that some degree of purity among ideology in leadership is an important component of Good's modern redevelopment, akin to the way Viceroys had to be Shayatin/Adikoi/Keresians. Well done.
But you know what they say about assuming, so whatever. Maybe he was actually always a Darkwalker spy or something, in which case, nevermind!
I would like to thank Mhaldor for staying true to their mission of strengthening the world. They have really helped Hashan lately by recruiting the unfounded arrogant ones, the blatantly disrespectful, and the just plain obnoxious.
Really, you have been on quite a roll snatching them up lately and I welcome you to continue. It is slowly making Hashan a much more tolerable place and saves me from having to tolerate them or wait for a legitimate excuse to boot them. Perhaps they will flourish under a more strict regime, who knows!

Heh, Shallam had some Darkwalker spies, including I am sure of it, one of our own denizens. Sadly Draekar has never been exciting enough to have led such a double life though
The change is simply what you have inferred. It is actually a sad time to leave an order and a family of players that have been the most enjoyable part of Achaea for Draekar/Me for a number of years now. But Good faces a significant change now, and I had to make the decision to cast aside everything from the past in order to embrace fully and with total commitment the changes that are taking place.
It's an exciting time for Good, but no doubt an emotional time for those who have more to lose in the change than others. I'll always miss the Church, the Templars, @Miramar, @Pentharian and most of all @Phaestus and all the Phaesteans, but there can't be a place in the new Good for the baggage of the past, for the split loyalties, oaths, factions and especially the politicking of the past.
Perhaps in time things can be more diverse, and I don't expect every player to do this, but it is the position I have moved Draekar in.
@Vayne It's easy to induct people, and it's very easy to kick them out if they don't toe Mhaldor's rather astringent line. So, yes, maybe they'll benefit from our discipline. If not you can expect them back in Hashan shortly!
We have a plan here, you see. By stealing every Hashani citizen that falls into the category of 'unfounded arrogant ones', 'blatantly disrespectful' and 'obnoxious' we plan to render the city with an active playerbase of like ten people max.

I'm insulted that you think I'd even read their applications.
No need to get so defensive Mhaldorian players, you can kick them out or do whatever you want with them for all I care. I am just glad they are out of Hashan and as my favorite ambassador has made clear, they are not coming back.
I would have classified @Tvistor's character in that first group back in the day and he turned out pretty good, so seriously, maybe some of them will find their niche with a bit more strictness injected into their character's life.
EDIT: @Mannimar that was a poor choice in a certain Divine agenda.

Now I need to forge more IC relationships where Jiraishin shows visible emotion, so I can actually use it.
