The steals on both Patrick and Rakia were both very impressive, and the sort of frustrating that just leaves you thinking of all the ways you could've gotten it. That is to say, they were really neat moments, even being on the losing end of them. Cyrene almost managed to pull something similar on Ra'mah, which was a fun shot to take.
Not that I think we could've done anything on the Rakia one. Crixos was only in the room with her for three seconds, so I barely even had the time to put up the target.
My connection has been pretty shocking for the past month, disconnecting every 10-20 minutes and hanging on every command. I'm really glad it resumed enough to participate in the end, and I agree that the candidate selection was a fun part of the Reckoning, although I was secretly hoping @Profit would qualify.
I'm impressed the bosses and mobs were designed that quickly, and wish I could've fought all of them. Lacharhad seemed cool.
Just fighting and goofing around with @Crixos, @Jurixe, @Akri, @Reyson, @Sakira, @Kerrigan, @Ellryn, @Anze, and the rest reminded me of what I love about this game. The little moments and struggles between characters, and the camaraderie.
Mezghar tells you, "Unfailingly polite, whatever else he is."
You tell Mezghar, "I think that is why I like him. He is somewhat charming."
You tell Mezghar, "Ugh."
Mezghar tells you, "It is best not to fall for a charming smile. Elon would not be pleased."
[In the desert, when the icons were introduced]
The sands below part, as a skeletal being rises from their depths. Gradually, organs fill in the ribcage, followed by lean muscles instantly covering the structure. Pale skin blooms from over the heart, flowing gently on top of the entire body revealing Sevet, the Black.
Had an unbelievably fun time Kraken-hunting with the Red Reavers, shooting at tentacles and ships, and watching @minifie just spin the Defiance about and sink everyone that was nearby like it was no big deal.
@Boosteya@Chubbs - quick rave for both of them. I made the switch to Mudlet from Nexus and LUA is completely foreign to me. Although I have read snippets of code and manuals, still was having some confusion. Boosteya took time to go over basic stuff and answer my questions and Chubbs spent hours with me, patiently, helping me understand small mistakes and explaining them to me. Never once were either dismissive or showed annoyance by my, probably dumb, questions. And Chubbs was definitely busy with other things but still found the time (even though I said it can wait!). People like these two are a good reminder of how wonderful the IRE community is.
I wanna thank @Jurixe for roping me into the AR event. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have felt enough pressure to finish as much of my OoS house as I've managed to do so far, descriptions and all. The onlyt hing i need to do is get off my ass and finish the other rooms and more furniture.
Gonna solve all these forays. One down, I'm not contributing to your filthy hoards so no dragon foray to do, and that leaves like six? Six to go. Here's to hoping they're all in that 'if you die it is entirely your fault' camp like the one @Nephiny and I solved is!
Mhaldor and shenanigans. I love the interactions and pushes to do things. Thanks to anyone that's put up with me pretty much daily!
Especially @Ashai@Aegoth@Dalran@Lii for going with me today! Even got @Aspid and @Mizik (somewhat) okay with seamonsters. You all made the mayhem even more fun.
I received a thank you letter today from a total stranger, thanking me for creating tasks to allow them to participate because they miss the usual event times. Inclusion is very important to me and I really try my best to design events that everyone can join in because I know the pain of being in weird timezones, so this letter made me really happy. I don't know if they'll ever see this, but thank you!

I know in this day and age 1000 PK might not seem like an achievement, but it bloody well is. Congrats buddy.
Sobby is 16yrs old and I only hit 990 in last nights raid, although I'm hardly a PK yardstick. Looking forward to the next 10 though.
Just wanted to give a quick "thank you" to Anytus for getting back to me about a certain Order item's functionality. I was seriously tearing my hair out about the syntax, so the reminder was truly appreciated.
The Asterian Festival of History is over - at least the events part of it. I'm still trying to process it at the moment.
I won't make this post too long (promise) but I think you'll forgive me for a few shoutouts:
- @Skye. Thank you so, so much for helping out with the auction, the carts, the exhibition, drinks, and going the extra mile to design your rooms and add your own flair to your shouts and hosting the auction, as well as generally just helping me get the word out and listening to me rambling about my ideas for the festival. I think I would have gone insane without you.
- @Nicola, @Sartan, @Pandora, @Rhivona and all the rest of the admin team involved: For literally everything you have done for the festival and your extra additions to make it even more special. I loved the story about Ledo and the tseolatha. The quartet dances were also amazing and I sincerely hope they will be kept to be used again somewhere. Thank you for all your help, your support ICly and OOCly, and for being very accommodating to my 'it's okay if not, but just wanted to ask if we could...' requests. It was all much, much more than I could have hoped for and I can't thank you all enough.
- For the people who took an interest and showed up to my events, I have a ton of love for you! I was always worried people wouldn't turn up and events are really nothing without participants, so thank you so much and I hope that you have always felt it was worth your time.
- @Veerah, @Reevah, @Quafina, @Perl, @Truax and others who organised and contributed to the city showcases, I sincerely appreciate your efforts to put your city's best cultural foot forward for this festival. It has been a pleasure to see and I hope you've had fun in the organisation (trust me, I know it can be stressful!) Your work helped give me some much-needed breathing room and I've really enjoyed seeing the stuff that people came up with.
- Everyone who has been doing the tasks. I hope you've found them enjoyable and thank you so much for taking time to participate.
- Everyone who has sent me tells or given words of encouragement or said they've enjoyed the year and the activities. It really means a lot to me to know that you enjoy what I do, and I appreciate it. It helps motivate me to do more!
- @Ellodin, @Ruth and @Xer. Gone but not forgotten. Thank you guys for making all of this possible in the first place.
I guess I lied a little, it was kind of long, but to be fair it was a whole year! In short, thank you to everyone and I hope you've all had fun.

The ground quakes violently as the conjured world around you begins to break apart before your eyes.
You are moved by Icosse, Mirrored Ire.
A triangular platform. (indoors)
Placed carefully upon a circular altar, a large ivory candle is here, its flame dancing enchantingly. Standing still as a statue, a blood steed has fixed its fiery red eyes on some movement in the distance.
Thanks admin, for fixing my artie discount voucher goof up. The little things matter greatly.
Give us -real- shop logs! Not another misinterpretation of features we ask for, turned into something that either doesn't help at all, or doesn't remotely resemble what we wanted to begin with.
Thanks!

Vhaynna: "Honest question - if you don't like Achaea or the current admin, why do you even bother playing?"
Pretty cool being part of a few huge Targ raid defenses today. Really felt intense and like a lot was at stake with all the shrine defilement and invasion of the Ziggurat and Sartan deathsights and 4 Divine present and shouting immediately beforehand. I am sad to have been mindless through most of that earlier part, though. It was pretty neat to see that much activity and energy. Kudos to Mhaldor for coming back through three full wipes and helping make part of the story.

Yeah, @Sartan rushed with his guys, that was just awesome. I mean like, that had to be somewhat fun, attacking with your divine. Can't say I've done that. Though I am very happy Sartan didn't just like obliterate us all so we were able to hold off the Mhaldorians, and then get cleaved affectionately.
The Divine voice of Twilight echoes in your head, "See that it is. I espy a tithe of potential in your mortal soul, Astarod Blackstone. Let us hope that it flourishes and does not falter as so many do."
Aegis, God of War says, "You are dismissed from My demense, Astarod. Go forth and fight well. Bleed fiercely, and climb the purpose you have sought to chase for."

Props to @Zithalu for rezzing everyone.
Congrats to Targossas and Cyrene! Sevet is still the dreamiest.
Reaching down with a massive hand, Sartan lifts your head and draws a taloned finger across your throat, the wound closing as He does so.
Gloon conspiracy theories. We better watch our backs.
I am unreasonably happy about guards that do like 100 damage a hit.
Nice.
If not, Ill buy that and trans just to plunder the governmental offices of the cities we [should be] raid.
Prevents the use of DISASSEMBLE on a piece of future.
Can't steal it if it's nailed down after all.
Who knows who can place furniture in clan housing. I'd assume the clan leader, unless there's a clan permission setting for that.
Especially @Ashai @Aegoth @Dalran @Lii for going with me today! Even got @Aspid and @Mizik (somewhat) okay with seamonsters. You all made the mayhem even more fun.

@Akri, @Crixos, and @Stheno, y'all are fun to do forays with.
And thanks to the devs for tuning down Mirror Tower, that's a really fun encounter now!
