Can we take a minute to collectively rave Cyrene for having the balls to raid Hashan? Seeing that brought a tear to my eyes. Shame on you, Hashan, for guarding these stalwart tykes!
I ran out of monoliths and we all got displaced *shakefist*. Next time!
I'd like to give a shoutout for @Davok as an amazing mentor. Since my joining, he's been extremely patient and willing to answer all of my incessant questions, and has gone out of his way to direct me on the right path to getting better. I don't think I could have gotten a better mentor.
Now that I've caught up on sleep and soaked up some sun, I want to say a big thank you to Mhaldor for their war efforts. Far too many people to individually tag, as it really was the whole city, but some honourable mentions. Insert a list of all our slaves here: you were amazing.
@Crixos, you're my favourite sullen lizard. I love being the idealist to your infuriating pragmatist, ever since you scouted me as a fellow Aussie troublemaker.
@Atalkez and @Reyson, our Houses are better under you than they've been in a long while. That includes your seconds-in-command and officers.
@Dunn, you're pretty inspiring on the battlefield. I'm sorry you couldn't join us for drinks and banter.
@Sartan, your support means the world to me. I can't thank you enough for the guidance and discipline both. Or all the very cool narrative touches and lore that you add.
Very simply, this war couldn't have been won without all of your contributions. It was won off all your backs. Everyone pulled their weight evenly and pitched in to make each month interesting and memorable, and even when tempers flared or energy flagged, I appreciate the focus and restraint from all of you. Thank you for trusting me with this story, and for committing to it as we pushed the boundaries of the new war system. It makes me immensely proud to see how far we've come in just one month.
I don't consider characters "converts" once they've been Mhaldorian for a few IC years, but there's no denying that the variety of relative newcomers (combatants and not) that have joined us have made the city that much stronger and more diverse.
You're an incredibly fun pack of people to play with, and I'm looking forward to learning more from you in the months to come. And teaching some too!
To all the Targossians who gave it their all, thank you for the competition and fun conversations!
Reaching down with a massive hand, Sartan lifts your head and draws a taloned finger across your throat, the wound closing as He does so.
The latest post from @Sothantos made me proud and quite happy. Banning the City of Good to its enemies. RPing the Good guy isn't easy. Heck. It can be a pain. Yet @Aurora seems to have lit a fire under Targ. This last war...hah! It was epic! Targossas didn't give up even at the very end when we had to fight them STILL. @Archaeon, @Silas, @Lyndee...there are many more, but I was quite exhausted and more than ready for a nap by the end of it.
Now, for raves to those in Mhaldor who kept my addiction...er hobby...alive. @Aegoth, demanding all those damn cataclysms. Jester, not magi on demand...in theory? @Stheno who led, not only by words in posts, but also bounties claimed, fights fought, etc. @Crixos who kept the off hours crew going with @Akri and @Reyson. @Proficy who is still the bane and terror of all who think about crossing Mhaldor. @Quilana who proved you don't have to be a combatant (one day I'll figure out just what makes one a combatant vs a noncom) to make a difference. @Nbige, @Iaxus, @Dunn, @Atalkez, @Entaro (I swear...anymore cracks of that whip...), @Davok who has done a TON in the Legates and city, @Dalran, @Eoka who is such an incredible rper, @aliza, @Rhuul, as well as several others my mind is too waking up to name. Also, @Sartan who Mhaldor likely fears enough that some of us may cringe just a tiny bit IRL when we hear or see the name (you seriously are the definition of terrifying in the dictionary. I'm sure there's a picture of you there).
People can change. It's not like I wasn't a complete and utter turdwaffle before I made a startling transformation by accepting Jesus into my life. Redemption is real
Nah I certainly took stuff too seriously for a good while there. These are not out of bounds accusations and I held no high hopes for being given a shot by anyone in Mhaldor. Shots have been given and I am forever grateful for that!
Dunn is a formidable opponent and a strong ally. Such characters in the game are often polarising, as is the case with many others in Achaea. I've never had a problem with him, and I've been on both sides.
Naram loves everybody. Best thousands of credits I’ve ever spent because it lets my hardened, dickhead character have a light heart. He’s a good boyyyyyy.

No other game had me this hooked.

Great war, let's fight again!
Naram refuses to move out of his lair in the bog, tho.
Disappearing from Achaea for now. See you, space cowboy.

I think that's the problem most of us had/have with him right?
