Ohhhhhhh my God. I have the best text-children ever. @Morro, @Mariya, and @Colivar got me a customised, re-setting tarot deck, platinum and covered in jewels, featuring our text-family's crest and motto. It's just the sort of thing I would have gotten for myself:
a deck of algid, gem-studded platinum
Pale and luminous, this deck is comprised of high-quality platinum and bedecked in glittering gems. The precious metal is polished to a frigid pallor, its surface the intense white of snow in the light of the winter sun. The front face bears a shield of like metal dominated by a crown of stark, blazing black diamonds, the sudden contrast sharp on the eye. The multitudinous facets glitter madly beneath any light, stealing away the shine of the tiny white gemstones peppered about the corners of the deck. Upon the opposite face are a series of what appear to be names, pressed so deeply into the metal they lend a very tactile quality. Beneath these, capped by elegant scrollwork, are the words, "Chaos before blood."
This item may receive emblazon.
It weighs about 1 pounds and 2 ounce(s).
EDIT: How the hell do you make quote tags on these new forums?
My avatar is an image created by this very talented gentleman, of whose work I am extremely jealous. It was not originally a picture of Amunet, but it certainly looks a great deal like how I envision her!

One of the most exotic-looking of flowers, the tiger-lily has petals that curl severely back on itself while the stamen reach out grasping towards whatever it is that stamen pine for. The petals are orange with black spots, and the entire effect is quite stunning.
Minor rave: I smile whenever I probe a tiger lily.
@Nellaundra, for the random interactions. I wish they were less random but I realise how terrible my schedule is lately. Nell's surprise and reaction of "What the hell did I miss" still makes me laugh. I promise I will go into detail about -that- once I've thought it over more. After this week is over, I'll be around at better times for you.
@Velyse, you're awesome. I hadn't fully realised what you were talking about until I saw Melodie's log. I'm still cracking up with laughter.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
Mhaldor, I missed you. This even, and the constant skirmishes are so much fun I wish I'd come back sooner. Though I'm sure the lack of being able to hunt/gather without being paranoid about being attacked will probably start getting to me sooner or later. Being rusty in combat and finding your way around sucks! Especially when Cain dropped a corpse at my feet while I was catching up on news, and jumped up and down asking me to spear or decapitate it, and all I could do was send him a tell saying "I can't remember how to spear' :P Better than when I had trouble drawing my rapiers earlier since my scabbards had decayed .... glad nobody noticed that IC.
There was a time when I had the misfortune of passing by a TV playing Jersey Shore on the day before exams. I nearly failed them.
Is it because you took a moment to fist pump every time you thought you got a question correct and didn't finish all of the questions?
No. I took a moment to fist pump every time I answered a question, regardless of whether I knew it was right or merely guessed.
Do not lie, you nearly failed because you immediately sat down and could not stop staring at the stupid....
Okay, okay, I admit it. As soon as I saw the title screen, the shock of the inanity of it all rewired my brain into staring at it like a bystander stares at the remains of a seventy-train pileup. The memory of it still haunts me to this day...
Was happy to discover @Kaevan was on the Inex while I was finishing a trade run. Stumbled across a ship near the Lemnian sea whose captain was semi-afk fishing. She called Artanis on the Scythe while we were negotiating. Got my payment while being shot at and then sailed away.
You pirate and privateer-haters should all be glad to know that I was very nice and demanded far less than I could have. The most important thing was I got an ornamental hair ribbon from the captain too, and that's all that matters. ^_^
"Mummy, I'm hungry, but there's no one to eat! :C"
Many many thanks to @Beya for this wonderful gift. Nizaris now has an actual cilice:
a choker of twisted barbed wire
A section of agricultural barbed wire has been wrapped loosely about itself in a springy circle of malleable steel. Jagged coils of thick wire pair the two twining lengths at increments, the sharp barbs honed and unrelenting. The bands of metal mesh and squeal over each other like the springs of a clock under thundering hooves. By means of a sliding noose, the choker can be bound close enough to the neck for the rough barbs to prick the skin.
Although Keresis never felt right, I still remember the small fun RP stuff Shera got from her. Thank you, admin, for giving her a nice end. It was actually touching.
Bleh, work ate my gaming life. 내가 제일 잘 나가!!!111!!1
Could've been a rant about the original bug, but might as well rave about the resolution instead. Apparently when I upgraded my band to level 3 back at the end of the August artefact sale, it got upgraded in appearance, but not effect. Noticed it a couple days ago, fixed today.

I have to shout out to @Sarapis for just being silly. When the news about the final event of the whole Bal'met thing was going down I realized I'll be at work until an hour into it. So...
You sent the following message to Sarapis:
Push that event back an hour! Some of us work nights!
You just received message #1665 from Sarapis.

@Halos and I were sitting together when we noticed y'all out there. We debated going out to smash some heads, but decided against it.

Seriously i was about ready to bust something open... Probably a can of "whoop-my-own-ass" knowing my track record that's probably what would have happened. so just outta curiosity, what was that all about?! just for fun? hah
Throughout the Temples of the Sea, priests sing of the deeds of Ariettie, Rinzai and Saidie, and of their glorious battle against the Caspiites on the Isle of Suliel.
