  • Been feeling pretty lost since I came back, friends have retired/defected.  Got to touch base with @Rohai, one of the old crew and made things better and looking toward new faces.  Looking forward to getting back into things
  • Using Brave Phoenix, you lightly inscribe a circle upon the ground around where you stand, turning slowly as you do so. Hands firmly clasped one over the other on the hilt, you raise the weapon high above the centre of the circle, fixing your gaze and your concentration on the runes sketched upon it.

When you feel that your concentration is perfect and complete, in a fluid motion you bend down on one knee and drive your weapon straight down into the earth. The circle inscribed around you blazes into white flames, echoed by the brilliant glow of the runes upon your weapon as the powers of the earth course through the blade and through you.

As the flames fade, you slowly rise to your feet and see your runeblade aglow, its empowerment complete.

I've heard empowerment is dormant when you're not playing as a Runewarden, but it's a additional flair for my Blademaster's sword.

That is not an ordinary star, my son. That star is the tear of a warrior. A lost soul who has finished his battles somewhere on this planet. A pitiful soul who could not find his way to the lofty realm where the great spirit awaits us all.
  • Lol, watch hugalaz proc on a multislash.

  • I have some seriously awesome proteges right now: @Akassa @Mithil and @Talura (who isn't on the forums). These three are just incredible and remind me why having proteges is so damn fun. <3

Can you actually wield it while Blademaster? Traditionally you can't wield runebladed weapons when you're not in Runewarden form, it's why Runewarden/Paladins and Runewarden/Infernals got stuck in a bind a while back. I haven't tried empowering the BM sword even though that's been fixed, just for the off chance it still doesn't let me wield the thing; that's kinda 30 days I can't play BM.
-- Grounded in but one perspective, what we perceive is an exaggeration of the truth.
  • Technically though, you don't WIELD SWORD though, right?

@Tahquil and I spent a short while discussing who Minifie is the child of, and after playing the "go through the artists drawings of characters" @Melodie seems to match it.

Kind of a fun game, going through other characters and finding out who your character most resembles. Blew away half an hour and made bashing a little more fun :)

Been able to hunt and wield it as a Blademaster so far. The only potential bug I think one might encounter is what would happen if you try to impale someone with it. I'll test that on someone later and bug it if the result is not being able to wield it.

  • Rave @Dortheron AKA Mr. Awesome for being patient with my questions and explaining some much needed information to me in ways that I understood last month. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me figure things out. Also @Jazon for being my cheer leader and giving me a laugh or 10. Big rave @Grandue as well for listening to me, not judging my feelers, perhaps helping me avoid making a big mistake, and for being patient with my questions about the shop stuff.  :) Things are looking up!
  • JonathinJonathin Retired in a hole.
I don't know about all the progress. They made me MoW of all things. Then again, 2 steps forward, 1 step back is still forward progress.
I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.

I wonder if any of you actually live near me in TN.  This state is to long. :(

  • @Jhui  Cookeville here.  Legitimately can't miss us on I40 due to the gigantic metal cross.
  • Carthage here!
Give us -real- shop logs! Not another misinterpretation of features we ask for, turned into something that either doesn't help at all, or doesn't remotely resemble what we wanted to begin with.

    Thanks!

Current position of some of the playerbase, instead of expressing a desire to fix problems:

Vhaynna: "Honest question - if you don't like Achaea or the current admin, why do you even bother playing?"

  • @Ismay : I think you mean Carthageville.
  • Oh wait.  ismay lives in carthage?  That's like 30 minutes away...
  • MelodieMelodie Port Saint Lucie, Florida
There are a surprising amount of peeps in TN. When I was there two Octobers ago, I think our meet got to like, almost ten Achaeans? Granted a few of us were out of state, but.
And I love too                                                                          Be still, my indelible friend
That love soon might end                                                         You are unbreaking
And be known in its aching                                                      Though quaking
Shown in this shaking                                                             Though crazy
Lately of my wasteland, baby                                                 That's just wasteland, baby

Considering Cookeville is not big at all, I probably live very close to you. ;)
  • This just in.

Me and @Kasya live really friggin close to eachother.  Like... she's pretty much within walking distance close.
  • Cooking is fun. Boyfriend does not seem to comprehend the appeal of 'I drawed a cupcake!'

  • Ohhh @Jhui you're back in Nashville?

Time to cut the power to his house so we can go mess with Asthan....  B)
