You blink confoundedly before quietly uttering, "What."

Tbh, I thought it was lawnmower at first. I was so confused.
I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.

Well if AUSTRALIA is so fucking great why don't you just go there!
  • I found a bad bug the other day and got a "gdi" out of @Tecton when I told him about it. It's the little things.

Got some amazing belated non-decay birthday gifts from one of my best friends for my 27th birthday!  <3  :3

a cascading crimson and amethyst silk sheathe gown

Exquisitely tailored from a lustrous length of amethyst silk, this sheathe gown
is held up by only the thinnest of sparkling jewelled straps that rest upon the
shoulders before cascading down the form in a liquid-like fall of shimmering fabric.
The colour subtly changes through any movement until it flares a fiery crimson at the
hem and brilliant cut blood rubies adorn the lower half of the gown in an erratic and
chaotic pattern, befuddling the eye. A slit has been suitably cut into the gown from
hem to knee upon both sides of the wearer, allowing complete ease of movement and a
    natural flaring of the fabric.
It weighs about 1 pounds and 0 ounce(s).
It won't protect you much from the cold.
It bears the distinctive mark of Ourania.

    a slimy green scrag plushie

The slick, dark green fabric of this plush simulates the algae-covered skin of
a scrag, and uneven scraps of felt replicate thicker patches of the viscous slime
clinging to its squat body. Two black buttons gaze dully from the top of the broad
head and, underneath, a deformed bulbous nose protrudes slightly off-centre.
Hopelessly matted, strands of dirty grey yarn hang like a mop from the sloped brow.
Short arms dangle limply from each side of the plump body and end in gnarled fingers
and yellow claws. Making it possible for the distorted thing to stand are two wide
and flat scaly webbed feet with three discoloured and filthy claws each.
It weighs about 4 pounds and 0 ounce(s).
It bears the distinctive mark of Oeda Aleswiller (a denizen).

The new minipets are amazing! Especially the beaver! Whoever wrote up their descriptions did an excellent job.

Tsk, now you're even posting in raves about your beaver? Have you no shame?!

(I kid, as a Canadian I am obligated by law to love beavers.)

Nice! Do you have a list of the other new ones?

  • Hallelujah. I can finally buy credits again after 2 months of that talisman crap. I ended trying to sell off so many talisman pieces for dirt cheap that people stopped buying them completely. Oversaturated seafaring talisman market = Kay, I'm gonna wait for April for the next promo on buying credits. :|

Hopefully the credit market will start falling back to 6000ish gold per credit now that people are getting something new on credit purchases.

That is not an ordinary star, my son. That star is the tear of a warrior. A lost soul who has finished his battles somewhere on this planet. A pitiful soul who could not find his way to the lofty realm where the great spirit awaits us all.

There's only a beaver and a woodpecker, replacing the phocine flyer and the toad mounts. No new mounts.

@Kayeil : beaver is a slang term for vagina. Given the other animal is a woodpecker I'm wondering if the administrators are trying to make a springtime joke.
Ah okay, makes sense. Not something I've ever heard around here before. That is pretty funny about the springtime joke, though.

  • Yeah, that went right over my head. I think I've vaguely heard the Americans being funny about 'beavers' before, but I don't really see it.

It's because "beavers" eat "wood". Urban dictionary is your friend ;)
You know, that one thing at that one place, with that one person.

    Yea, that one!

    This definition?:
    http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=beaver

I believe that definition on the urban dictionary page is a definition of the animal, not the vagina slang. As you can see from many of the other definitions, the reason beaver is used to describe vagina has to do with hairiness.

Not that the "eats woods" doesn't add some fun to the term, but I believe it had nothing to do with how it originated (I've heard about hairy beaver when referencing vagina before, but never wood eating).

It's because merkins are commonly made from beaver pelt.
  • You learn something new every day!
  • I'm waiting on the day when I am no longer a veil-less peon. :( When will it be my turn to get lucky? From what I see on forums its like every week someone gets one!

and it seems like people who already have a veil or newbs are getting them. I'm neither so I guess I'm disqualified :(
