  • By the way, our shrine is now fragmented instead of partial. Dunno if anyone else is there yet, but that means we have at least a week and a half left of splinters yay

do the first ones to complete get active gods :o

One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important

    No.
    - (Eleusis): Ellodin says, "The Fissure of Echoes is Sarathai's happy place."
    - With sharp, crackling tones, Kyrra tells you, "The ladies must love you immensely."
    - (Eleusian Ranger Techs): Savira says, "Most of the hard stuff seem to have this built in code like: If adventurer_hitting_me = "Sarathai" then send("terminate and selfdestruct")."
    - Makarios says, "Serve well and perish."
    - Xaden says, "Xaden confirmed scrub 2017."

For the love of Anzari-tarin please finish it quickly. I'm seeing splinters in my sleep.
  • So new proposal is the coalition feeds us all the splinters? Y'all can take the day shift and we will just keep doing our thing in the evenings.

You know we'd get bored, bby

  • I'm already burnt out on this shard gathering and kept going hoping Partial was half way. What if it's not, what if Fragmented is half way. Oh god.
  • That's the first thing I said to Dunn, lol.

    Suffer.

I've done my suffering. 14 years of it. In Azkhaban!
  • And it's a week and a half for us. Not a list of 9+ shrines. That's crazy. We will be sprawled out on the edge of the Void with Babel vacationing while you all finish.

  • With who?
  • I see people scrambling for shards and keep trying to push the tide back. I'm a bad creationist

I call you guys finishing and then realizing "we no longer have to relinquish essence, time to ram it up everyone's tailpipe with an avatar raid group!"

Why else would we want to finish first?  Gotta get that level 3 tank somehow.
  • Pit ALL the people.

  • It would actually be nearly impossible to tank raid as avatars. Hard to get in and out and be mobile in a city without wings/earrings/portals/etc.

Look I'm just here for the free spin. I don't want any trouble.
  • I dunno man. You look shifty man. I CANNOT ACCEPT IT.

  • How do you kill something with nigh-infinite health?

    Do nigh-infinite damage. #KoreanAdvice

I still attest that like, two priests or devotionists who know what they're doing can make someone essentially immortal. Can't die to afflictions, can't die to damage.. How do you kill something that cannot die?
It's not even remotely difficult to vastly outpace the amount of health two Devotion users could restore if you have enough people. Then you also have things like Pulp which rely on afflictions Priest can do absolutely nothing about.

That may be true, but this is assuming those avatars are doing nothing. Pretty sure in practice Daeir is actually right on this one.

  • Hence why we say devotion classes are op af

I want to care but...I don't. Aerei does, because org RP (on the rare occasions I've managed to be awake), and I appreciate that the admins put a ton of work into stuff and because of that I'm extremely glad other people are having fun with this. But I'm ready for things to get back to normal. Although I hope there's some awesome Tsol'teth spin on Mayaween events coming or something.
