    I had considered and its effects,

    firstly you wont be able to be in Dragon and thus lose out if that is your main basher

    That leaves your main class with super stats however you cant wear armor nor artefacts which leaves you vulnerable. Yes avatars have natural resistance but I dont believe that is enough of a substitute.



    Honestly i'd love if Avatars were given a unique way to combat the menace. I would enjoy if they give them to ZAP ability and allowed them to target the fog monsters, much like how we were able to zap  dala'myrr on Nish during the bal'met event. It could be made tied to essence with each zap costing 500-1000.

    Wouldn't work for stated reasons, unless as noted Avatars had hard-coded benefits like super-crits or something against them. Even then it'd be hard to impossible, the Tide stuff isn't exactly easy for an Avatar to tank and you'll have Ashtan/Mhaldor/Coalition rolling in to gank you.

    Taraus tested this already. She told me she was so I told my people to back off. She said she just died a lot, but you don't take the 25% health loss as an avatar.

    I wasn't taking the 25% health loss as a non-Avatar in the Tide yesterday, though that was in the Eastern Reaches and surrounding areas, not that near the Tsol'teth fortress. Where was she testing?

    I seem to have to lend people my arties so that they can participate in the vapour stuff without fighting a single mob for 40 minutes.

    I should say that I don't have a problem lending, but it seems a little unfair that part of an event is (somewhat) hidden behind a paywall or having to be dragon.
    I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.

    The mobs that spawn are scaled to your level. It's better to solo bash imo. At the higher levels they can't be crit, unfortunately.

    You all just need you friendly level 80s to run around! I cleared about 8 rooms of fog in 10ish minutes last night. Hooray for not being dedicated to bashing during the GH!

    The changes are great for me at level 85.  I can clear rooms solo fairly reliably now.  It's not that quick, and you have to be careful but it's totally doable.  Big thumbs-up.

    Nah.

    I was down there trying to clear it before you.  And trying to clear other areas.  I was spawning the same shit that dragons were spawning.  Without the perks of being a dragon.  Now I can do it.  I just get murdered a lil less.

    It feels like they scale upwards in power more steeply than we do. Low-level, high-skill characters can probably clear a room faster than Dragons.

    Nah, had a level 37 in there who killed 30 before quitting. He was spawning them after you died.
