I felt bad about the big group ganks and went off to subvert for a few runs like @Patroklos says he's going to.
Then I got ganked a number of times 4v1 or 5v1 by both Mhaldor and Ashtan.
And @Jinsun can you not eye while avatar'd? Or did I just misread that?
You can use eye sigils while in avatar, or were able to yesterday afternoon when I logged off. It's when your forestal community doesn't flash when the door opens by itself that's depressing.
One thing I will say about this event, is while it's been frustrating, painful, and sometimes even borish its had its moments. Even though it was really short lived, having participants from all six cities was really neat. I don't think we've seen united participation on this level in years, if ever. Plus, there's just something about watching Apostates and Priests racing to see who can Absolve/Cath first
The lack of visible progress hasn't helped IMO: The only milestones we've had are the 'partially restored' shrines, and even that's been painfully slow. So it ends up being an endless treadmill with no end in sight, and without any feedback as to whether our strategy/tactics are getting us anywhere.
Everybody just needs to relax and have fun rather than being in an unending race to GET SHRINE DONE NOW. It was made pretty clear early on that it would take a while.
I think the problem is some people go into this uber-focused mode where it's like "I'll have fun again after this shrine is complete." You should have fun while doing it! That's the whole point. Don't -make- it boring out of some obsession with winning.
Have fun, take breaks, be nice to other players OOC, etc.

Hey, hey. I -am- having fun. Especially when I get to do things like have a 20+ int stat and then turn around and zap the shit out of someone. Or running for my life while in Avatar because ohgodnoIleftthelubeathomeandherecomesJhuiandcompany. The five, six hour debates on how the coalition is going to move because people are being stubborn, or getting messages/skype/texts/hangouts at various hours because someone's causing serious enough problems that it might break up the coalition? That I do mind, I think I'm averaging about 4-5 hours of sleep a night at this point, thank god I have access to an unlimited supply of free coffee and energy drinks though, right?

Mhaldor must be 100% different when I'm not around.
When I've been online we haven't been a roaming gank squad going around killing everyone we see, or attacking people who aren't subverting/not involved/haven't ganked us.

I heard free energy drinks....
I've already had three amps and a monster, and it's not even 1300 yet. I feel like I'm barely function this far in, I really need to learn to just let the game run itself until I can show up during my normal times, instead of playing peace maker all the time.

When I'm around it's mostly Proficy roaming around solo trying to 1v10 us. (if you rephrase, it'd be proficy roaming about and us 10v1'ing him.)
@Makarios please don't let things ride for a bit while people adjust. It seems that every day the alliance is upset that a new way exists that the 5-6 people fighting them have found to get an advantage.
I'm only belligerent IC because everyone getting along is boring.
No hard feelings! It's all in good fun.
Was more referring to the fact that Targ basically hijacked the coalition to get a single shrine up fastest and that's basically all that anyone from your city has been pushing for, to be the first ones to get a shrine up ASAP.
It'd be a bit weird if we were noncommittal about getting one of the Bloodsworn's shrines up.
I've argued about this too many times in the past 24 hours to get into this on forums. Given that Ahmet has zero choice in whether or not he supports the coalition, and that the proposal's already gotten enough votes, there's not much point anyway.

The Coalition was always going to break down and give one faction a benefit at the expense of others. It was only a question of when and who.
If someone wants to be a dear friend and publish the list of Divine who are now getting screwed over it, I have at least one "I told you so" to throw out there.

point it's circular and not a productive talking point
Not sure if I like it or just flat out love it.

The obvious answer to deal with people divebombing and dying as an avatar...
They don't get the Grace of the gods, because they are a god (sorta).

Penwize has cowardly forfeited the challenge to mortal combat issued by Atalkez.
We've got 3 Divine going for [REDACTED], so. Lady Aurora working with Deuc doesn't much matter in his eyes.
PS: He's a follower of Creation, so you know. He's down with Gods who have sworn to defend Creation getting their Shrine up fast.
