Only reason Targ is still in the coalition is because Xaden and Micaelis whined hard about not wanting to get ganked. Straight out of the horse's mouth from extremely xredible Targ sources. Take off those skirts, fellahs
The real reason we're still in the Coalition, IC, is because I believe in its purpose IC. @Patroklos and I made the thing in the first place. Not as if it was formed and I was all "Man I bet I can really get Targossas a legup by joining this little get together," we created the damn thing. I don't like the attempts to make it biased one way or another, as those in Targossas can surely inform you of. I believed it was a truly unique chance to gather a vast majority of the game into a single organization and the merit of doing it is just so we can say we made it work even with all of our differences.
I'm very proud of the Coalition staying together for a day, let alone this long. I wish things would have gone differently with individuals in Targossas, Mhaldor, etc but I think the overall attempt and success is a testament to breaking down the OOC barriers of hatred that seems to permeate the vast majority of things I see within the game and especially on the forums.
It's not perfect from any possible point of view but I never expected it to be. In any event I'm happy to have been involved in such a group and regardless of outcome will remember it with fondness.
EDIT: While I recognize that many consider the actions of myself or Targossas to be for the sole purpose of furthering Aurora or Deucalion, I feel inclined to include that the first proposal from Targossas was an attempt to put all shrines into Phaestus. I'm sure most Targossians disagreed with that idea, and would have been angry, but my personal intent in the Coalition has never been anything but honest and as unbiased as I can be.
I was always under the impression that @Jarrod formed the Coalition?
@Puxi, I tried to get it started day one when the scrambling for shards was started, but no one wanted to listen. After Micaelis' post came out, I shouted out I wanted to speak to order heads again, this time with more promising results. @Micaelis, @Czanthria, @Jarrod, and one or two others I can't remember off the top of my head (I'm sorry!) formed a party to begin discussions. Verrucht donated a clan, and Jarrod came up with the plan that solidified the initial version of the Coalition. This wasn't a one person situation, this was people pulling together and trying to work together for a change.

Incorrect. Jarrod called the first meeting to order we had. Patroklos and I started it, then Tyamat, then Verrucht, Czanthria, etc. Mhaldor wasn't going to be involved at all in the beginning. It began mostly in tells at first then a party was formed and here we are.

From you, not Targossas. You weren't even authorized to make that proposal. Hmph.
But yeah, different people in Targossas definitely have vastly different views on the situation.
Basically everyone who hates the Coalition can hate Micaelis and everyone who hates the latest 9 order ultimatum can hate me.

As per the Coalition agreement any Order Head can make any proposal. I most certainly was authorized Though I did have to go through some shady RP validation to make it an accurate representation of Light. I figured if it hurt the Nihilists I could claim it was in Light's favour lol.

I'm obviously not referring to the Coalition agreement but to the fact that no proposals were to be made by the Bloodsworn's orders without agreement of both orders.

No harm, no foul, though. Didn't pass.
Yeah in retro it wouldn't have worked but I'm pretty sure, at that time, it was just you represent Him and I Her. Aurora said a few days later, I -think-, that we had to agree. Could be mistaken of course. But yeah, doesn't matter at this point. Still a fun time so far. Nice to work with some people I never got the chance to associate with due to outdated fraternization laws.
I dunno man that latest events post that reads "will there be enough for a single shrine" had me thankful for self sustenance.
I can see it now. The Babbler's finish their Shrine, and the world screams for their help from outside their caves, and they will softly whisper, 'No'.
No, I just don't particularly enjoy being steamrolled by 10+ people. Which is exactly why I just collect shards, and maybe sometimes pit the A Team, because who doesn't love a little irony? Plus @Artemis for bringing back old school grove lighting with stars
Most pro move I saw was Jhui getting babel splinter at start of fall and pitting nearly the whole coalition. We just calmly walked around and gathered the rest before strolling back into the swamp. Pretty sure there was whistling and tag along the way

I've done the same thing a couple times.
Your action causes the nearly invisible magical shield around you to fade away. An exultant laugh rips from you as you spread your arms wide, unleashing the devouring essence of the Outer Cold. Cracks spider throughout the air, and the fabric of Creation gives a great groaning, ripping sound as the fell pit of Golgotha sunders the Prime Material. Sulphur and screams boil up from within its loathsome depths, a prelude of the impending fate of all that bear witness. The Pit of Golgotha suddenly flares in size! Zenui is drawn screaming into the Pit of Golgotha. You are separated from Zenui. He can no longer defend you. Colgano has left the group. Colgano is drawn screaming into the Pit of Golgotha. Ginovianna is drawn screaming into the Pit of Golgotha. Bronislav is drawn screaming into the Pit of Golgotha. Jhui is drawn screaming into the Pit of Golgotha. Bann is drawn screaming into the Pit of Golgotha. (Party): You say, "Obliterate Miracle activated! People pitted: Zenui, Colgano, Ginovianna, Bronislav, Jhui, Bann."
Lol you got 2 nihilists and 4 coalitions. That was not a pro move in any way
Pretty sure Dunn was there, but cloaked people dont' show on pit : / I used it on Seragorn too because the Coalition was a bunch of scrubs and let him get away with just trapeizing through Lori's Temple.
What...I came up with the plan, had Skye induct me into the clan, got everyone to agree with my plan, called the entire world to a meeting, got everyone there to agree minus Nihilists. Got everything started and organized. Weird thing to take credit for given you missed the first significant portion of the entire thing.

im saddened that from that post, you would gain "we are doing good, let's keep at what we are doing".
Clearly the current setup by the players is bound to fail. Not enough essence to go around

I prefer to fight in pit anyways. It's a lovely cage match.
