Though not pictures of Myself, for over a week now I have been away, traveling in and around Lisbon. Clearly it is a land blessed by Me, given the weather report of "warm sun, blue skies, only faint wisps of cloud" for the entirety of the trip.
A few pictures, for the interested! Largely taken on a phone, with what I will begrudgingly admit are somewhat suboptimal photographical talents.
The Monastery of Saint Jerome, on the first day there:
Sky of that colour was effectively the norm.
The interior of the monastery, as well as the courtyard:
And what is this? It appears that @Aegis lost some of His elephants:
Further on, Belem Tower at the mouth of the Tagus:
On another day I visited the Pena Palace. Not only is it boldly coloured...
...but on the aptly-named "triton terrace" I encountered an image of a triton in its proper place!
Specifically, as a stone wall ornament ( @Neraeos ). And apparently it has some sort of tree growing out of its head. Perhaps a vivification from an irritated Druid.
Not to mention, also @Neraeos, that a group of fishermen on Lisbon's wharf have located your allegedly fearsome kraken:
There was also the castle in Lisbon proper, up on the hill. The inner walls:
And, during lunch, a group of peacocks who insisted on wandering around among the tables. Their pigeon-like lust for food was more forgivable when they agreeably did this at the drop of a hat:
Otherwise, here are a few other shots, taken during a day that I was biking around the coast to a beach:
And last but not least, one of Lisbon's streets, notable for how it is painted:
I work for the Health department and we hosted our second annual Tire Take Back Day. We collected over 400 tires last year between 2 locations and this year we surpassed that number. Tires are a huge potential area for breeding mosquitoes (which transmit Zika and West Nile Virus), we were able to share awareness on where mosquitoes breed, how to prevent the spread, and recycle tires! This year we were able to help reduce Rx drugs to help combat the opioid epidemic around our country by partnering with National Prescription Drug Take Back Day too!
I'm really proud of this event, it was a random idea that my amazing manager supported and it runs relatively cost free, the event helps us test an emergency management procedure, and serve as an outreach event for both our recycling center and the health department. I can't wait for the full tally to be complete for the number of tires recycled, Rx drugs collected, and people who came through our site.
This is me:

Nice! Never been to that one, but my dad's side of the family is from Honeoye; my parents have a summer cottage on the lakefront and I go up usually every other year to visit. Beautiful area.

I did a thing this weekend. It was a very small ceremony in the New York Finger Lakes
