    NZ'er here, can confirm. Visited Gandalf just last week to go raid Mordor with.

    Even though I live in NZ I only did the hobbit tour recently. We had a work shout (basically a staff night out on the work tab) and we got tickets to this http://www.hobbitontours.com/OurTours/EveningDinnerTours/tabid/123/Default.aspx

    It is a bit of a drive from everywhere and the prices are pretty much at the top of things to do in NZ but we had a great time. Would recommend it to anyone visiting.

    Can also confirm NZ is Middle-Earth. I was over there a little while ago, and while driving on the southern island I realised I was in the Shire. Then I drove through some hills and was suddenly in Rohan expecting a bunch of men on horses to come galloping over the next rise.

    This is what I think about when I think of NZ. Also I love the accents and have never heard anything bad about a NZ'er. But Im pretty ignorant on politics and not very travelled..so there is that.
