Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my hounds!
    Krenim: Hounds? How cliche.

Doesn't mean you can't joke about violence or other things that offend people though! If we removed that which may offend someone from the realm of comedy, we'd have precious little to joke about
100% agreed. But, my point wasn't necessarily one of 'we can't joke about this', it was 'enforce the rules the same for moderators and players alike'.

Me neither, but I'm pretty sure I've seen enough of it in gif form that actually watching the movie would be rather redundant at this point.
There are so many great parts of Scott Pilgrim that aren't available in .gif format :/

@Mishgul and I do the best we can do with the resources available, okay

My sister did a photo bomb, unfortunately her little guy decided it was the perfect time to say 'cheese' very quietly.

My other sister and I. Yes we are both Indian/Indian with a mix of irish in there somewhere. My sister has been on two years of bed rest straight and saw less sun than my geeky self did. So she's super pale.

you can tell what my pastime was when I wasn't running around Gatlinburg.

@Sarapis‌ Please read this: http://www.care2.com/causes/rape-jokes-are-no-laughing-matter.html (Rape and Domestic Violence are OFTEN related for obvious reasons, the point is: Why are these things not joking matter.)

I'll just repeat this because I clearly didn't get the point across the first time: It is not about being offended. I don't expect you to give two shits about my feelings. It's about stopping a system that encourages the opression of (in this case) women.

EDIT: Let's not even mention the fact that if one in four women (Not counting men) are victims or rape (and the numbers for victims of abuse are not very different), the chances of a VICTIM hearing your witty joke are quite high. And if triggering someone to relive what is more likely the most painful moment of their lives just because you want to giggle a little is ok to you, that's enough for me to lose a lot of respect for you.

It seriously took me 5 minutes to google that. And no, no, no, Ebola jokes are not funny and you disgust me. You all do. I find it disgusting that you use the privilege you have (Not having to live in constant fear of the disease - yet) to laugh about the ones who do, to laugh about their deaths, because ah, yes, it makes you feel so much better. But trust me, if the disease was an issue in the U.S., no one would be laughing, plenty would be dying. Would it still be funny after your loved ones died? I don't think so.

Stop laughing at other people's miseries, it isn't edgy or cool, it makes you a terrible human being. Why is it not the same as, say, laughing about someone in Achaea catching fire? Again, the context is different, it ends in what I would almost categorize as cartoon violence. It won't make a murderer go out and kill someone because that's not how it works. Violence against women and rape on the other hand, will make a rapist or abuser feel valid.

This community has plenty of people who would rather ignore reality, that is true with most communities. The biggest privilege is being able to ignore your privilege, and thus ignore the opression of others. There is not a single day in which I don't feel disappointed by you. A couple of google searches will tell you a lot, but only if you want to listen.

@Rom As you said, they weren't directed at a specific person, which causes the issue at making it a private message. It was for all who agreed with the idea. I understand that this might not be the place, too, but really there is no easier solution I've found. Making a new post about it would be taking the issue out of context, not to mention people would have to find it to begin with, and could just choose to ignore it since it's not a conversation but rather me talking to those who care to listen.

Unfortunately if I had to take a break from people for their shitty behaviour I'd need to take a break from life, and that's unfortunately not an option. My current idea is that if someone does something like what @Sarapis did, it's not on purpose (hopefully) and they're just misinformed. Thus I proceed to inform them, hopefully reach an understanding and we can get over it. My issue here is the fact that people don't seem to be listening, which I guess is fair enough since they don't have to, much less in the context of this post, but then again this is still my best bet. I might be wrong, I'd be glad to find a better way. Unfortunately most other options people see as """shoving my opinion down their throats."""

Actually if you take the focusing lens out of the gun, you can aim it anywhere you like and hit the whole screen simultaneously. You can get up to insane levels. Not that it's important anymore, cuz nobody does that anymore, but still - just so you know.

And @Herose, is that a Lupine rifle you're learning to snipe with?
