    yeah, if you ever read up on the breed.. they are skittish and solitary and hide all the time... out of the 6 turtles we have... he is the only one I can hand feed.. you put your hand in the tank, he walks over and settles into your palm to be picked up and get his head stroked

    Yusss, markings are there to help me with finger placement. Soon enough, I won't need them but until then, will have to suffer them on my lovely instrument.
