Maybe what the pastor was trying to say is that the girl scouts are so awesome that all heterosexual parents want to only have girls so they can send them to the girl scouts, so they abort all the boys. But since it would be cruel to give birth to heterosexual girls in a world where there will only be other girls, they invent some weird prenatal tests to detect heterosexual girl fetuses and abort them as well, so only lesbian girls are in fact born.
