One of the symptoms of an approaching nervous breakdown is the belief that one's work is terribly important

  • I got to see an oold friend yesterday. Turns out he's looking at the same Uni as I'm at, so we met up when he came down for the open day.

    Speaking of good weekends...

So of late my clothes have been falling apart, getting worn out, etc to the point that kids at school were beginning to notice, and it's been decently upsetting for me.

Today, though, I was taken out by the boyfriend's mother and we went clothes shopping. Now as anyone who isn't below a size 12 will tell you, clothes shopping can be a terrifying experience - very stressful, uncertain, and sometimes downright unpleasant.

Despite my fear, I actually had a really good time. I'm still not where I'd like to be, but I instantly noticed I was fitting into sizes I had not before, and even things that did not exactly fit were actually able to -go on-, which is a thrilling experience. I tried on things I never would have in the past, and though I didn't buy any, I'm starting to think about skirts and (gasp) dresses to wear!

After purchasing two pairs of pants, some socks, and a bra (insert angel choir here), I'm feeling more optimistic about clothes than I have in years. I wasn't sure before we went, but this trip has revealed that I have indeed lost weight - about three bust (not cup) sizes and two to three waist sizes.

That's really weird, but at the same really exciting! I can't wait to be able to afford even better, nicer clothing. Hopefully sooner rather than later. :)

Good clothes make any girl feel better. You should go get your hair done, too. You'll feel a million dollars :)

    Yay for shopping!

if you've lost that much in your band size, get a GOOD bra re-fitting done - my band went down but my cup went UP the last time I lost weight.

Also - grats on the weight loss!
That's because the cup size is relative to the band size. If you go down a band size and your breasts are still the same size, you will go up a cup size. Someone with a 30DD bra size will have the same size breasts as someone with a 36B.

Thanks fatty woodchuck for making my day.

I'm honestly unsure if this is a rave or a rant, but since I left the office early, I guess it's a rave.

What is it about mysterious migraines?

Felt it start in the morning, and it hits me hard after lunch so that I suffer through 5 hours trying to get as much work as I can done. Finally throw in the towel like half an hour before knockoff time, get on the train. Feel sick for the entire 1 hour commute, nearly throw up twice. Come home, have a shower. Suddenly feel fine. wtf body wtf?

So that good news is, I'm feeling better. The bad news is... well, there's no bad news except I'm thoroughly perplexed :S

I pretty much crashed last night. I ate a cheese burger the size of a small car, and a bucket of fries. Literally, a bucket. :(

Been on the dash diet (essentially eat less than 1500mg of sodium each day) to get my blood pressure back in line.  Measured 123/83 last night with 9% bodyfat.  #getshredded

  • Geocaching actually sounds pretty fun.  I've been wanting to try it, but I'm too lazy to drive anywhere, and in Oklahoma, you pretty much have to drive to get anywhere.  Cool snake, too!
  • JozlynJozlyn out of here.
Next time I'm driving through Oklahoma we should do it!
     yes, sir.
