One of our lead couriers had the joy of being the poor schmuck that had to deliver One Direction's Japanese passport visas personally in Adelaide last week. He had to wade through 2000 screaming teenage girls. He got to shake the hands of the boys and had to get their signatures to accept the shipment. He made it onto our global newsletters so everyone in the entire company across maybe 200 countries will now know he was the poor sod who got groped by said teen girls because he touched the 1D people. I sent an email to him:
Me: Soooo, got to go near the 1D boys eh? Will you wash you hands ever again? Him: I had to have a shower. So many showers. So many girls. I got touched in places I didn't think girls were meant to touch. Me: Hey some blokes would kill for that chance, mate! Him: Did you know girls cry when I said they wink and had really nice teeth?
He was clearly traumatized.

I feel special because my favorite person in the world ( @Aldeberan ) is king of the OOC Rants thread. But wait...ranting = unhappy. Does that make this a rave, or a rant? BRB, tandem posting. :-\"
Costco return policy, I just returned some expensive couches I never really liked to begin with 3 years after I bought them. Now I'm going to splurge on a super expensive memory foam mattress.
Oh man, the ending of Code Geass is so bittersweet and deliberately ambiguous, ugh. The anime itself is a 10/10 in my books, I've never watched anything with as much appealing depth of story, combat and animation before.
@Exelethril love the anime of Code Geass so much. I showed it to Vaehl and he was speechless for a few days after it. I was genuinely worried for a little bit there. I think the manga Mirai Nikki was as deep and intriguing as Code Geass, but it was a hell of a lot more confusing for sure.

With the recent changes in my life, I've dropped the barriers I'd put in place to that kept people at arms length, with this came one of the biggest chances I've taken and telling someone how I feel about them. It's a rave because it's new territory for me and I didn't know how distant I'd kept myself, but at the same time, I'm really nervous about what will happen. Yay for emotional growth?
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my hounds!
Krenim: Hounds? How cliche.
Janeway: Tuvok! *clapclap* Release my rape gorilla!
Thank you @Exelethril for the early birthday present as I lie here sick in bed! text husband
Now Peabody can have a neighbour, I might name it K-Bup (I just like Beyond Good and Evil ok).

That parenthetical had me scratching my head because Peabody and K-Bup didn't sound like very Nietzchean names.
I meant the video game which had a health item called a K-Bup. I can't exactly call them Zarathustra or Stoa. Well maybe I can.

@Achimrst In Australia you get them from little boutique gift shops or in our mega department stores called Myer or David Jones. Internationally though you might maybe need to Google thdm. They're a Japanese product and have their own website. This one was from an online shop in Sydney called Top3 by Design (top3.com.au) who can ship overseas too. Might be cheaper to find a local vendor though.

Went against my instincts and went to the grad student Pub Night my university invited me to tonight. Six hours later of drinking and laughing and number-exchanging and silliness later, I'm glad I did.
Even though I was tit punched and they were an aggressive little pack of badgers, the bad kids from this week sent me 14 very sweet letters. * Ice heart melted*
The fact that there were 14 tyrants you had to deal with...
