You are a lucky bastard. I'd skip a logosian rub and tug any day of the week for that

You always use the most amazing words to describe things.

  • Call center @Eld ^_^ It would be awkward if it was a class...or those egg banks you have these days.
"Faded away like the stars in the morning,
Losing their light in the glorious sun,
Thus would we pass from this earth and its toiling,
Only remembered for what we have done."

  • Back from dance camp, and had a FANTASTIC time!
  • My head, it hurts. Man.

    I have no words.

It occurs to me that I'm a horrible flirt over the phone. I am having a wonderful morning though!

So much done and so much more to do.
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."

  • @Kyrra I'm sure the guys don't mind. :p

  • A person called the wrong number and left a rather long, technical jargon filled message on my voicemail so I called him back to inform him so. He was very grateful for it. Not something ground shakingly huge, but I got the warm fuzzies after hanging up for doing something nice for someone.
  • So now you know what to expect if he offers to show you some magic.

Today has been phenomenal for all the right reasons.

For those of you who don't know, I have paralysis of the left side. I grew sick of not being symmetrical so I began going to the gym with my PT friend (more like was dragged, but who cares now). Three months in and my left side has bulked up, making it less obvious that they are two different sizes, and my fine motor control has improve drastically and I am excite. This has probably done more for my self-esteem than winning the Presidential Volunteer Award. At the same time I've begun to realize how much more I'm capable of if I just work through the excruciation pain and embarrassment of  not being able to lift a ten pound weight with my left hand.

    tl:dr

I AM NO LONGER THE BODY BUILDER FROM LADY IN THE WATER!!!

    edit:changed to more appropriate meme

Really, a more appropriate meme would involve the same kid clenching his left fist. Happy for you, though, stickling aside.
  • Much better.
  • JonathinJonathin Retired in a hole.
Finally, my headache is starting to go away. Still have some other significant stomach issues, but one part of my sick is finally going away.
I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.
  • Minor rant for context: My computer, and it's internet connection, are dumbasses.

Major rave for understanding lecturers. Dude just saved me from a module failure in under half an hour.
  • DaslinDaslin The place with the oxygen
Well, we got a turbo ordered. Going big single turbo. This motor might be friendly afterall!!!!

this is an example of said turbo. Garrett 76 trim.

Calculus with actual numbers, i.e. engineering

Around the time I first took calculus, 13-14 years ago, some of the newer TI calculators could do definite integrals and derivatives. I don't think they had any functionality for doing things symbolically, so it would only help for questions looking for a numerical answer, but could be useful in some cases. Not sure how much better/cheaper they've gotten over the years.
