  • I hated those smug -ers with their -ing graphical calculators. Graaaahhh.

    Also I hate calculus.
  • I had Tetris on my graphing calculator. We were only able to use calculators in AP calc after the teacher made us learn to do it without them, so I used it for Tetris a lot.
  • I'm just saying that some people use calculators, and don't know how to survive with it.
I got a mother effing 98% in calculus, and did nearly everything correct. I just felt like bragging, sowwy. :>

Happy wedding anniversary, mum and dad.
I don't think we have divorce yet. Or do we? D:

Grats. I think my parents will be celebrating their 28 years of marriage in December. While we don't have divorce, lol, married people can get separated anyways in the Philippines.

EDIT: I mean being happy together is an achievement, even in no divorce Philippines.

We're one of the few countries that don't have divorce, yes. What we do have is annulment where you have to prove that the marriage was never valid to begin with.

I woke up, and I was surprisingly not hungover, considering the amount of Fireball I drank last night. Started the morning with a glorious "swiss"-and-veggie tofu scramble, new Jason Webley songs, @Dunn making me jealous of him for getting to see Opeth, and now my best friend is dragging me on an adventure that is somehow vaguely related to the Smashing Pumpkins and the anatomy of the human brain. Hooray for lazy Sundays.
My avatar is an image created by this very talented gentleman, of whose work I am extremely jealous. It was not originally a picture of Amunet, but it certainly looks a great deal like how I envision her!

-hub has found a slew of mutated [read: a five-leaf and several four-leaf] clovers and he gave me one
-hub also washed, waxed, and detailed my car

Despite my boss being back at work after almost six months away, the phones dying, network folders breaking, having to work late on advertising on a Monday instead of a Thursday.. I've just had an amazing day.

It's after 1am and I don't foresee me getting that much sleep, because the energy I am burning is like the most amazing sugar high, but it's from sheer excitement.

And though this last bit ought to go under the Achaen raves - thank you to whomever briefly took over Comet. It was subtle but awesome. It really made my night.

Rave: Looks like a promotion is in the works! My boss just gave me part of her work (she's currently taking on two jobs) - something she doesn't trust anyone with. Then someone else higher up mentioned that she asked if I would be suitable to take the position, and he recommended it! (knowing where I work, it'll be a month or two before it happens, but still!)
It's confirmed, and it'll be official on the 22nd!
Official! Loving my job at the moment.

Cottage pie for lunch and cute IT is coming to visit because stuff broke. Yay.

Also, four hours and I am aiming to be out of here while it's still daylight.

Starting to wonder just how this stuff 'breaks' with how often he's called in. ;)

I am not breaking anything! This office has bad juju. Which he can fix >.>

Seriously though, two months to get a router problem fixed, the email servers glitch, one of the network drive folders is having fits, the printer stole the computer IPs, one of the voip phones started dropping lines, one of my boss's kids downloaded a nasty virus onto the server PC which just broke the office.

It's this office :( and that 's just the IT stuff. Last long weekend, the hot water system burst and flooded the office.

  • So tired.

Had no time to play Achaea.  I built 3 full auto M4s for the Local Sherriff's department, and hosted a build party in my garage where 10 AKs and 2 RPKs got assembled.

The Deputy came to take possession of the M4s right as we got done riveting the trunions on the last RPK, so I was nice and busted open a case of 7.62x39 and 600rds of 5.56.  We all shot the AKs and then the Deputy let everyone run a mag through the M4s on Rock and Roll.

All in all a busy, fun day.

What sucks is tomorrow I have to go pick up 1000 empty 7.62x39 (steel non reloadable) and 600 rds of 5.56.  Cant just leave them in the field.

I'm apparently loved for giving them new and different problems to fix. I thought they'd be sick of hearing from me by now. Nicest guys.

  • Mmm, quinoa! I like to make it like a Greek salad, so peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, kalamata olives, lemon juice, garlic, oregano. So tasty.
  • I had a chance to go to a zumba-thon over Easter. Instructor training took precedence, alas. Next time. :(

Rave: Today should have four lectures. Lecture four hasn't happened in months because the lecturer hates the room with a passion and refuses to lecture in there. Lecture two was cancelled on Monday, lecture three yesterday. Turn up for lecture one only to be told that it's been cancelled as well.

I could get used to this Varsity nonsense.

  • Happy birthday, @Simoln!

It's been sunny today, finally some good weather! Probably the only day of 'summer' we'll be allowed here in England. I'm too tired to go out for a walk in the Heath, but doing chores when it's bright is certainly more pleasant.

    I might even read a non-study book!
  • Warriors came out to play.  That was a ridiculous shooting performance.  Steph Curry such a baller.  Bogut playing well.  Barnes playing aggressively.  Hope they make it out of the first round so they can lose to the Spurs.
