    I'm going to quote Willow (from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) here

    Edit: added on Rave to stay true to the topic: oh idk. I am going to eat a minipizza for lunch?

    I will not draw them in the order that they are requested... rather in the order that I get inspiration/artist block.

    Trip to my original destination went flawlessly, my bag was even the third one on the belt for pick-up. Really enjoyed my trip.

    The return was pretty horrible, plane was held up for more than an hour and a half because our plane crew was late by about 20 minutes. Then the luggage got held up.

    I had someone house sit. I had stopped by the store before I got home because food. Get home, it's like 80 degrees here, my kitchen light's out, he's been feeding my fish the wrong food (and therefore my fish has not eaten, not to mention I just cleaned the damn bowl and was pretty clear about which food he needed), there's pizza boxes stacked in my trash bin and one in my fridge, and for whatever reason, my toothpaste is missing! My toothpaste. Gone. And blue globs of toothpaste in the sink. Plus he left not only some items of his but some items of a lady's variety as well. He has a long distance girlfriend. I don't want to know. So back to the store for toothpaste.

    Now I have an appointment in 9 hours and I am almost too exhausted to sleep.

    But I am glad to be home with my pets and familiar surroundings. With my xbox and my laptop and my bathroom and my bad...
    But gosh darn it, if there do exist some people who just can't handle the uniqueness of your snowflake...

    Showoff :(  The body corporate at the place I live at refuses to upgrade to UFB, as a result I'm still stuck on 5mbps downstream, not exactly slow by any stretch of the imagination, but I would like faster speeds...

    @Eld Large backlog of PhD people submitting over the last year in our department. And getting all the reviewers and myself in one room is tough I suppose, especially if some are from overseas! I don't mind though. It gives me time to relax and look for some short term work and travel!

    Probably a culture difference, but I don't see how a lot of people submitting can prevent you from defending whenever you're ready, especially for six months. Seems pretty insane.

    Pretty excited for this weekend! Have my local coffee learning class this afternoon. On Saturday, finally going to use the gift my wife got me (a 4 hour home barista training class [aka learning how to pull espresso and make latte art])! Also glad I got to network with new people earlier this week and learned about a fairly prestigious school system has an opening for their high school band program. Here's hoping I get an interview!  :)>-
