    Nice, just got given a gift card as a thank you for taking part in the new tv commercial for work.  I just volunteered without actually expecting anything, so this was just a nice bonus :)

    Mom had round two of "let's shock you to make your heartbeat stop being weird" today (since last time it worked but then relapsed a few days later). The procedure went exactly as it should, was even faster than last time, and she was cheerfully sending me texts soon after. Here's to hoping that either a) it worked and stays working, or b) if it doesn't, that the problems come back before Sunday, since she's staying in the hospital for observation until then.

    First day of work!  It was fun, exhausting, and I honestly like the people I go in with.  My feet hurt now though, but it's worth it!

    Today, I found out the exact location of my hospital's medical bookstore. (My hospital is connected to the National University of Singapore). They had a lot of tools, equipment, books and all that sort of stuff there. I totally need to spend more time there looking through the list of books they sell. SO EXCITING.

    Rave #1: Only one out of 2-3 people in the entire class that didn't get ~12/20 on the quiz (I got 18 and missed two easy questions)

    Rave #2: I got a family size box of cheezits 3 hours ago and haven't eaten the entire thing yet (only like a tenth of it). I am AMAZING.

    Got my new headphones for my ipod, got A Link Between Worlds. Watching a couple movies (Legion was first, now the unrated directors cut of dawn of the dead- yes the newer one)

    It's still hard to believe that Whitney's gone but they're screening The Bodyguard tonight for remembrance. I had the soundtrack for this movie on a cassette tape. So much love for the Queen of the Night.

    Would meeting someone whom you've been chatting to online and then via sms for coffee count as a first date?

    It's coffee. In Melbs. Just dress as per normal but with a slightly nicer scarf and just enjoy each other's company. You already know what you are both like from the online medium, so now it's just a matter of seeing how you both get along on the vis-a-vis front. Going to the CBD or somewhere like Carlton?
