Touch screen + Mudlet + coding ability = great possibilities.
I bought a cheap ass Asus touchscreen and I will never look back. The only crap thing is the screen is so small I sometimes miss text flying by me in the game. Oh well.

Nice-ish day today, gonna take a hike up the mountain and see if the anchor-outs have nested for the season. Fingers crossed I will encounter either the bear, the lion (did I rave about the lion yet? If not, subrave: I have a mountain lion! Big ol' grey one.) or the bobcats.
Updated to fibre broadband at home... just wow! As someone who works from home, uploading and downloading big files has become so much less of a chore. The best thing, as someone who works from home, I don't have to pay for it!
I work from home too, but have to pay for it myself.. so no Fibre for me
I have a job again! Working at a Radioshack, time to restart the back to college fund(in addition to the kayaking, camping, fishing, scuba, and hunting fund).

I don't have a mountain, but I do have woods. Snow just fell and coated the trees and their branches. Took a walk a little while ago down a neat path that I randomly found and it was like walking through a tunnel made of snow.
I am retired and log into the forums maybe once every 2 months. It was a good 20 years, live your best lives, friends.
Boyfriend got a new tablet that is fairly fun to mess around with and is by far a huge upgrade (even though it's one of the cheaper ones) from my 5-6 year old iPod touch. It'll be nice to actually have a way to reliably watch netflix when I'm within wifi anywhere. I've yet to try out Achaea on it, but I imagine I will just for fun at some point. It even came with a little "keyboard" that's sort of in a notebook-looking thing. It's adorable.
More exciting, though, is that I'm finally getting (cheaper than usual) a 3DS XL (the new, pretty gold one) with the latest Zelda (A Link Between Worlds), Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, and Mario vs. Donkey Kong games. I am stupidly excited about this and consider it a late birthday/Christmas present to myself. It feels like the holidays decided to visit a little bit after all! Eventually I'll have to pick up all the Harvest Moon games, plus a few others no doubt. So many games, so little time.
And lastly, things finally moving along IC to make me feel less burdened about the overall situation. While I still have some bitter/sad moments, it's becoming gradually less bleh and more and more interesting and exciting. I can't really talk about much of it yet, but I'm hoping for a fun and different change, and looking forward to a new set of challenges, even as I feel a little disheartened at not quite achieving what I would have liked before everything went down.
All in all, good things coming! But HOLY COW WHY CAN THINGS NOT MAIL FASSSTER.
Edit: Wanted to add in a thank you to @Cooper for the kindness he extended to me. Even though I didn't take the offer, it was very appreciated and actually got the hunt for a good deal started. So all in all, you helped me out, anyway!
And I love too Be still, my indelible friend That love soon might end You are unbreaking And be known in its aching Though quaking Shown in this shaking Though crazy Lately of my wasteland, baby That's just wasteland, baby
I think I have yet to load anything but Monster Hunter 3 in my 3DS. Got one of the old style purple ones, because I love purple and the XLs have always felt... Distorted, as well as being too damn big to fit in my pocket.
Similarly, the only thing that's ever give in my Vita is Oboro Muramasa.
....I have spent over $700 to play two games.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.
Bydar, a garish-looking trader says, "I'm not a man, I'm an experience."
I need new a new battery for my 3DS (I have the teal one that came with ocarina) and I -really- want A Link Between Worlds (it's probably gonna be my birthday present to me).
My rave? I'm happy to be alive. After witnessing over a dozen car accidents and nearly getting involved in 3 of them while traveling to the center part of the state. I used to really enjoy driving and didn't care about the weather at all. Now I'm turning into grumpy old guy who hates Michigan winter
I'm HOME from the hospital! 10 days there with lots of straightening out of medications and finding the right cocktail that will control my blood pressure. Cats were ignoring me at first, but now they're snuggly again.
RANT: Lily (my tortie) Chewed through the cord on my blood pressure machine. Imma kill her. Yay for hippie neighbor across the street letting me borrow theirs until we can replace the cord. I'm not paying another $100 for a new machine. Eff that. (stupid stupid cat.)
I am getting a new supervisor at work and I believe today is my current supervisor's last day ever.
So even though he lectured me for way too long over making a small, harmless joke to a fellow co-worker; even though he tried to reprimand me for not doing something or something or other from about a month and a half ago and I really had no idea what he was talking about because, uh, I wasn't even there and who cares even?, EVEN THOUGH I sat around twiddling my thumbs for almost an hour until the last 12 minutes of work and then he decided RIGHT THEN AND THERE I had to close out 4 medical records regardless of the fact that they were not time sensitive and there was no reason to do it today in a rushed, crazy way, and ohyeah he previously requested I leave them for him on the desk (and then changed his mind, whothefackknows), I am just. So. Happy. He's leaving.
Mad respect that he gets stuff done, but he is a "one way feedback" kind of guy and never, ever wants to hear it from us lower-ranked peons (we're not people, and we don't know how things work). I'm cool admitting when I am not comfortable doing something, happy to admit when I make a mistake and always strive to fix it, but I am also sick of the hand holding, the lectures, the repeated 'waffling', the same regurgitate shit over and over. And the pointless commands.
But this coming from a guy who once ordered me to turn back around and drive in rush hour back on base because he forgot the keys to his Mercedes in the back of my Civic. He has an app on his phone for that. And also lives literally 1.5 miles away from work. Has a wife who drives a fuckin' $50,000 SUV. It took me two hours just to get there and go back home and by then I was so mad I made a batch of eggless cookie dough and ate the shit out of it. And he tried to be like 'oh I thought you lived closer haha I'll buy you lunch one day' yeah that fucker never bought me shit.

That's kind of hot that he left his keys in the back of your Civic, @Jovie
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."
From a man's perspective, he was totally hitting on you. Keys in the back of your car? He was defs hoping you'd jump his bones as he reached in to fetch them. Juss sayin

Particularly appropriate for the Achaea crowd, I feel.
*Whiskey and math may be involved.

Stanimal
That's the stuff I got. So fun already.
No joke, I saw Lily and assumed I'd written something about my daughter XD
